Rita and I were backstage at Ellen's studio. I sat by her side. "Baby girl?" I said. "Yes Tyler?" She looked at me. "I love you with every ounce of me. I will always be there when you need me and I won't let you fall. I love you too much to let you go." I rubbed her arm. "I love you too Tyler." Just then Ellen came back. "Tyler you're on." She smiles. "Ok. See you later Rita bear." I smiled. After my performance and interview I went backstage to see Rita but instead I found the wedding ring and a note:
Dear Tyler,
I know you and I have had our ups and downs and we may not agree on things but I want you to know i love you and I always will. Maybe husband and wife isn't the best thing to be right now but I still love you. I prefer if we are just friends. I'm sorry

My heart sank to my stomach and I fell to my knees tears streaming down. "A-she's gone. I-i missed o-out on th-the best gi-girl. I just hope she's happy." I sighed sobbing harder. I looked up at the sky as if I was trying to say something to Rita but I couldn't find the words. All I could say was goodbye...
