AN: This story IS NOT BACK YET, I simply thought of uploading the chapter I was working on, but since it's incomplete I decided to make it a two-parter, with the last part coming up whenever I come back to this story.
The four former sidekicks, along with Superboy, had arrived to their hideout safe and sound. They ended up sharing rooms, with Dick, who had let them in on his identity, sharing one with Wally, Kaldur and Roy sharing the other, and Superboy sleeping on the couch, claiming it was a bed when compared to the pod he used to sleep in.
They woke up early the next day, only to see Dick and Wally's 'disappearances' all over the news.
"I knew it was gonna be a scandal but I never though it would be THIS big" said a shocked Wally
"Then again, remember that I'm Bruce Wayne's adopted son, and you are nephew to one of Central City's best CSI's" said Dick
"Don't you think it will be weird if Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad and Speedy all go solo at the same time as Dick Grayson and Wally West disappeared, and Roy Harper left Oliver Queen?" said Roy after a moment
"Roy is right" said Kaldur "we will need to do something about that"
"And why don't you simply change your hero identities?" asked Superboy
"You know, Supey's right" said Wally
"Guess we will have to do changes to our costumes and come up with new names" said Roy
Dick glanced at Superboy
"You should do the same Supey, after all, I don't think you want to go by what Cadmus called you. You should also come up with a civilian name for yourself while you are at it" he said
Superman's clone thought about it for a few seconds
"I like the name Conner, but I still have to think about the hero name though" he said
And so, the four young heroes laid low for the next new days, using the time they got to come up with new names and modify their costumes. They also practiced a few times in the outskirts of the city to test their skills and improve them. Nothing fancy though, they didn't want to attract attention to themselves.
