~ Chapter 6: I'm not going with you ~

"Is it murder if I kill a mosquito" I questioned as I clung to the back of my dad. We had found the smokey mountain range and was climbing up a hill in which the top held Rays pack. Ok well technically dad and Stefan was walking up the hill and like I said I was on dad's back getting a piggy back ride and Stefan was carrying Ray.

Dad chuckled which I felt. "I don't believe so."

"Good" I responded as I hit my arm which had a mosquito hanging out on it. I rested my head in the crook of dad's head.

"You Ok. Is Ray getting heavy." Dad asked teasingly to Stefan.

"I'm fine" he responded.

"You sure about that? You know we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit down."

"You know I could ask you the exact same thing about Mackenzie, I mean I haven't seen her walk since we got here" Stefan said.

I raised my head from it's position on dad's shoulder "Hey! What are you trying to say."

He looked at me before looking away "nothing, nothing at all.

I huffed at him before resting my head back in it's original spot. Ever since Stefan found out that I was Klaus's daughter he's been acting different around me, then again it's not like I blame him or anything if I was in his position I'd probably be acting the exact same way as him.

"Look I get that we're stuck together Klaus, but if we could maybe skip the chitchat that'd be great" Stefan said.

"Hey you the one who started to talk to me" I said from my position on dad's back, but was ignored by the pair of them.

"So much brooding. Your self - loathing is suffocating you my friend."

"Maybe it's cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves."

"You, me both Stef" I muttered.

"We've been at it all summer."

"Thanks to our pal Ray, we've found ourself a pack" I jumped down from dad's back as in front of us was a werewolf pack and it wouldn't exactly look scaring if dad had a teenage girl clinging to his back.

We walked into the main part of the pack, and everyone was staring at us they were all werewolf's as far as I could tell. Everyone stood up in alarm as they noticed a dead ray on Stefan's back. Stefan dropped Ray on the floor "Ray oh my god" a women cried as she ran over to him.

"Who are you" the girl asked Stefan.

"The important question is who am I, please forgive the intrusion my name is klaus" dad said stepping forward, he turned around and shot me glance before turning his attention back over to the girl by ray. I know my dad better than anyone so that glance he gave me told me to stay back and not make myself known.

"Your the hybrid" the girl stated.

"You've heard of me. Fantastic" dad smirked.

"And there goes his ego" I muttered crossing my arms.
