I turned to my clock, 5 am. I can't sleep. I went downstairs to see Elton and Corey filming in the living room. Strange. Usually filming doesn't start till later. I silently walked upstairs to sams room and knocked. Strange, he was awake too.
"Come in." Sam murmured. I slowly turned the knob.
"Hey Colby." Sam said keeping his eyes on his laptop.
"Hey dude. Couldn't sleep?" I asked.
"Nope. Forgot about editing. Any particular reason you're up?" Sam said. I silently walked to the other side of the room.
"I know your birthday party is tomorrow but.." I looked down. "Brennen asked me to hang out and I felt like it was rude to ditch him I'm so sorry-"
"No, no, don't worry.. I'll still see you today though, right?" Sam asked.
"Well.. no." I whispered embarrassed.
"So you're leaving us alone? Are you kidding me? Whats so important about brennen lately? We ALWAYS hang out on my birthday. What's gotten into you?" Sam angrily said. I took a deep breath and walked to the door and grasped the knob-
"I'll see you tomorrow." I said frustrated.
"Goodbye, Colby." Sam said annoyinglya.
