Chapter 14.

Riza's POV:

"So Fullmetal finally got the courage to propose to Winry, eh?" Roy asks.

"Yup! He even used Alchemy to make an auto mail ring! There's a diamond on it too, but the auto mail made her squeal."

"Ha! Figures. Strange one that Winry."

"Yeah, but she's so sweet."

"Wow. There's so much I've missed. What about Al? Does he have a girlfriend yet?"

"He's in Xing with May Chang. I think that there's something going on between them." I snicker.

"Now everyone's happy. Ed has Winry, Ling has his throne, Alphonse has May, Izumi has a goddaughter, and I have you and Kallie." He says, planting a kiss on Kallie's forehead.

"Roy, what are we gonna do next? I mean, we've known each other forever, but we've been apart for so long, and-"

"Riza, calm down. We don't need to think right now. All I want is for you and Kallie to be in my life."

I smile. He's so thoughtful. There's no need to stress about anything just yet.

"You're right. When do you get discharged?"

"Tomorrow. We'll need to sell my apartment though. Kallie deserves to be raised in a proper house." He said, kissing her forehead again.

"Not right away, though, we need a place to live, and we have to move all of our stuff up from the South." I say.

"Of course. Well just put it in the market while we sort everything out and if we get any offers, we'll tell them to wait for a few weeks while we move out."

"Sounds like a plan."

All of a sudden, the lights flicker out.

Jean runs in the room.

"Shut up and hide!" He whisper shouts.

"What's going on?" Roy asks quietly.

"Shhhhhh!!!!"

"Hello? Is anyone there?" A raspy voice asks.

"It's not like they're going to answer you, Envy."

Envy. I know that name. The homunculi are back.

Roy's POV:

She laughs. God I love it when she laughs.

"Yup! He even used Alchemy to make an auto mail ring! There's a diamond on it too, but the auto mail made her squeal."

"Ha! Figures. Strange one that Winry."

"Yeah, but she's so sweet."

"Wow. There's so much I've missed. What about Al? Does he have a girlfriend yet?" I say, knowing how much he had hoped for a girlfriend when he was a suit of armour.

"He's in Xing with May Chang. I think that there's something going on between them." She snickers.
