Serenity entered her room, surprised. It was almost as big as her room in her home.

She dumped her suitcase at the entrance, and briefly wondered why'd she give her father the possibility to let her dog roam freely in the school, and where was Fang now.

She shook the thoughts of Fang away, taking n the sight of her room. The walls were in the same color as Vanilla Ice cream, and the floor was the color of snow in its third day, when it's got some spots of dark in the brilliant white.

And ten her eyes landed on the bed. King size bed, all white.

She found herself liking the constant use of white, it gave her a feeling of pure and good. She was about to check the bathroom, when a knock interrupted her, "Yeah?" she called.

Charm jumped into the room. "Hiya."

"Hi Chram," Serenity greeted. Charm ignored it, looking around at her new friend's room.

"Yours look different. All white."

"And yours?" Serenity wondered.

"Black and Gray all over. Some white, but mainly dark. I like mine better." Charm concluded.

Serenity grinned, "well, I think I like mine better as well."

"Wanna go meet other people? The school bus is supposed to arrive soon enough."

"Sure," Serenity smiled at Charm. "I also need to find my dog, mind helping me later?" Serenity asked as politely as she could, biting her lip. What if Charm'd reject her, saying it was rude to ask for favours when they just met?

Charm merely smiled, "only if we manage to find at least one more person that would help us."

Serenity couldn't help but feel lucky to meet Charm. She could be the best friend she always looked for.

Charm, on her side, was just as happy to find a person that didn't hate her guts. A person that she hoped one day she could rely on.

The two walked out of the room, and started talking about Arrow.

"I chose DA, you?" Serenity asked politely.

"DADA. Not like it matters." Charm shrugged, "I mean, you will just study DADA from your third year to fifth. Unless you'd decide to continue with this?"

"I don't know, my parents don't mind and I'm not sure in anything yet." Charm nodded.

Must be nice.

They heard a swearing, in something that sounded like Spanish.

"Um, hello?" Serenity called, hesitatingly.

"Olá," a voice called back, "Uh, shit. Can I get some help?"

Serenity and Charm exchanged a look, then hurried down the few stairs left.

Serenity couldn't help but giggle at the sight. She didn't know she could even giggle.

The boy scowled at her, "can someone please get this dog away? I'll step on him!"

"Fang, come here boy," Serenity called and the silver- grey wolf-like dog turned to her. He happily walked closer to her, and she scratched behind his ear; as she learned he likes.

"Merlin, he's pretty," Charm commented. The dog turned to her, barking, yet his tail was wagging like crazy. Serenity chuckled. "What's his breed?"

"Czecholovakian Wolfdog."

"Never heard of it," Charm commented. Serenity shrugged.

"No one really, but I love him," she smiled at her dog as he sniffed Charm's hand, deciding she's all good. He then turned back to his owner, his amber eyes looking up to her.

"What's his name?" The boy asked, finally.

"Fang,"  Serenity replied, and his ears perked up.

"Well, except for the fact he tried to kill me, he looks like a good dog."

"He didn't try to kill you, you probably just have food on you or something." Serenity rolled her eyes. The boy looked around in his pockets.

"Oh," he suddenly froze. "I've got a three-months- old cookie."

Serenity and Charm exchanged a look, "boys," Charm huffed.

"Uh. Actually, I once forgot a biscuit in my pocket for half a year." Serenity blushed lightly.

The boy laughed, his chocolate- brown eyes twinkling. "I'm Thomas."

"Charm," Charm introduced, "which is a nickname for Charlie. Which is a short of Charlotte."

"Oh," Serenity commented, "yours is just a nickname."

"Isn't yours?" Charm asked.

"No, mine is legitimately Serenity."

"That's a weird name." Thomas commented.

"You have a weird accent," Serenity huffed.

"Well, I'm Brazilian, kill me," he frowned. "Deus, eu estou irritado."

Charm and Serenity exchanged a look. "Uh, LET'S BE FRIENDS!" Charm called.

"What?"

"Just say yes," Serenity sighed, not understanding Charm's behaviour completely.

"Yes?" Thomas said, unsure.

"YAY! FRIENDS!" Charm called, running out. Serenity looked over to Fang, who fell asleep next to her legs, then to Thomas.

Thomas ran a hand through his dark brown hair. "I knew it'd be better to just stay home."

"Naw, don't say it." Serenity grinned.

"Your hair is cool." He smiled.

"Thanks," she grinned. "I pride myself for my hair."

"You really shouldn't," Thomas said, "mine is prettier."

"It is," Serenity sighed, and her hair changed to look like Thomas' hair. Thomas grinned, surprised.

"You're a Metaorphmagus!"

"Indeed."

"That's so cool!"

"Thank you." She smiled. Thomas stared at her for a moment.

"Hey, mind helping me getting my things into the room?"

"Sure," Serenity smiled. "What's your number?"

"25," he replied, handing her two backpacks that didn't weigh too much.

"Oh, that's across from my room."

"Neighbor!" he called, high-fiving her. Serenity laughed.

The two walked off, not knowing how much this meeting would mean in the future.
