**Ryan's POV**
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" I exclaimed
"What's going on?" Ricky asked
"My lens is cracked. It must've gotten cracked when I transported in my suitcase from California"
"How'd it go down there?"
I shrugged "fine I guess. I probably won't be going back"
"What's wrong with this girl? You've found a problem with every single girl you've met since Allie"
"Well for one she lives in California"
"True, but you travel a lot so"
"So nothing. I'm just gonna die alone"
Ricky just rolled his eyes
"Can we go take pictures now?"
"Sure. Mr. Grumpy pants"
**Mikaylla's POV**
"So, Balz, plans for this weekend?" I asked as we closed up the shop
"No, I'm going to see a local band with an old buddy of mine, but other than that nothing. What about you?"
"I have no friends here so nothing"
"Wanna join us?"
"Oh, no I couldn't impose on your plans"
"Come on. I insist you come and not just sit at home by yourself. I'll text you the info"
"Ok, thanks for the invite"
"See you a bit later"
Later that night
"Did you order anything?" I asked walking up to Blaz in the little coffee shop where the band was performing
"Yeah, a hot coffee. Are you gonna order something?"
"I'll order a coffee. Do you have a table yet?"
"Yeah, but I'll wait for you"
I ordered my coffee and followed Balz to a table
"This is Angelo and his wife Kelly. This is Mikaylla. She just moved here and works at the store with me"
"Nice to meet you" Kelly said with a welcoming smile
"Yeah, it's great to meet you as well"
I had a nice time with Balz's friends. I didn't even have a lot of friends back in California.
"Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your friend group" I told Balz as he walked me to the car
"Any time. I know it gets lonely in this town."
"It sure does. I like it here though."
"Well, enjoy your day off tomorrow and I'll see you at work"
"Thanks Josh. I'll see you soon"
The next day
I drove up to Wikes Bear today to see my friend Max since his wife is out of town for business.
"Let's go to the bar tonight" Max said getting his coat
"I'm down for getting drunk and seeing if there's some guy I can take home"
Max rolled his eyes "I'm sure Luke is out looking for random girls to hook up with"
"Don't bring him into this. I left him, and now I'm ready to live my life without him. Don't even say his name again"
"Sorry" he said putting his hands up in defeat
When we got to the bar I order a drink.
"Hey"
I looked over at a tattooed guy next to me "hey"
"Can I buy you a drink?"
"Sure, just finished this one" I said putting my empty bottle on the bar
