Chapter 6

**Mikaylla's POV**

"So, you hate Ryan because he tried to hit on you right after you met him, yet you slept with William after an hour of knowing him" Balz said clearly confused

"Well, with William I was drunk and wasn't in my right mind. With Ryan I was fully aware of everything"

"Ryan isn't a jerk"

"That's what Jamie keeps telling me"

"Jamie? She just wants you and Ryan together don't listen to her"

"I'm not ready for any kind of relationship."

"Understandable. I mean you just got divorced."

"Well, there's another reason too."

Balz just looked at my like I had grown a second head

"I help my sister with her 3 year old"

"How come you never told me? And where is your sister"

"She's in Pennsylvania. She let her ex have him for now, but since he got a job for some video game company he's going to be traveling all over the world so I'll be helping my sister get her son back for good soon."

"Wow"

"I know. I just found out last night."

"What's his name?"

"Watson. It was my grandfathers name"

"I can't wait to meet him. You should bring him into the store when he gets here"

"Well, he'll be here next week. We need to finish getting his room set up, and we need someone to watch him while my sister travels"

"Just bring him with you. I won't mind"

"I guess I could try that. He's very calm"

"Yeah, I think it'll work"

"I sure hope so"

**Ryan's POV**

"She's what!?!" Ricky exclaimed

"Divorced"

"Are you sure??"

"Yep"

"Wow, how'd you find out?"

"Last night. He was in one of her videos"

"I wonder why she kept it a secret"

"It's not like we're her friends. We bearly know her. This isn't stuff you tell someone right after meeting them"

"True. So are you over her yet?"

"I don't know. I've never been in this situation before"

"Well I'd get over her. She's not your typical girl, Ryan"

And that's just why I want her. She's not my typical girl

**Mikaylla's POV**

"He's cute" Balz said looking at my phone

"He's my baby." I said looking at the picture of my nephew

"What does he like?"

"Cars, trains, airplanes, the ocean, and pancakes"

"Does he talk a lot?"

"Sometimes depends on his mood"

"He seems cool"

"I'm just worried about his dad. With his new job my sister gets primary custody, but his dad can see him whenever he wants. I just hope he isn't going to take him away from her one day"

"Don't stess about it. This is what they agreed on right?"

I nodded

"Then don't stress"

"I'm sorry I'm dumping all this on you. I don't have any friends here yet so I just needed to vent to someone"

"It's alright. I understand. I'll always be here if you need to talk"

"Thank you, Josh for everything."

He smiled "no problem. Thank you for being such a good employee and friend"

I smiled. I'm so thankful I got this job.
