Barging into Ryker's office I start to throw random facts at him while sitting on his lap, facing him.
"Did you know kissing burns 6.4 calories a minute? Wanna workout?" What?! I never got my kisses from the night I was kidnapped! Mostly cause Ryker was pissed because something about "laughing with a man that was supposed to be him." His words, not mine.
"I did not know that and yes, I would love to work out." With an emphasis on the word love, he smashed his lips to mine.
His lips... they taste... so... pumpkiny.
Pulling away after 10 minutes Ryker started to speak.
"I wanted to take you out today. I didn't do anything to celebrate your birthday and I'm very sorry. So today I wanted to take you out to one of the best restaurants around and afterward I wanted you to pick any place you would like to go. How does that sound?"
Honestly, I couldn't wait!
"Yes, It sounds perfect! Thank you so much for at least caring." Grinning I jumped off his lap and ran out the door but before I did I yelled over my shoulder "I'll be ready in an hour!"
Feeling all giddy inside I picked out the best dress I thought would go for great with this birthday date.
