You and Clint had just broke up a couple of days ago, and things weren't good between you two. What was worse, was that you were the one to call it off. And it had nothing to do with him, because you were still very much in love with him. It was you, and as stupid as that sounds, it really was because of you. You needed the time to figure things out with not only yourself, but figure out your past, because you didn't have a god damn clue as to what happened in your life. Of course you told Clint that, but he wasn't buying any of it. So when you had the opportunity to fully explain to him why you broke up with him, he just rolled his eyes and turned away.
"I don't have time for your shit right now Y/N. All you had to do was tell me the truth, damn it break my heart, but to lie about it and say "it's not you, it's me"...that is something I will not take."
