Ruby POV

We were put in an empty room and steven was trying so hard to summon his shield to cut the ropes while i was there doing nothing peridot was trying to grab his little dagger "hey ruby are you ok over there?" Peridot said still struggling to grab his dagger "yea...i guess...." I said not raising my head "don't worry jasper and bismuth will be here in no time" he said "it's not that is....why did i even come here I'm useless i can't summon a stupid weapon i can't save the one i wanted to save and i can't save you what's the point of this....he won.....i keep repeating to myself he will never win but look what he did....he clearly is capable of winning and getting what he wants..." Peridot made his dagger fly up to his hand he cut the rope walked over me and slapped me "...you think always in the bad parts of life....now tell me what brought you till this point your hate for alex or something else?" He said looking at me with pure rage "...sapphire..." I said almost crying "so sapphire is a bad thing?" He said "....." I didn't answer "ANSWER ME!" he yelled "no....she is not" i said "then defend her with your life like I'm fighting to keep lapis and aqua alive and how steven is fighting to revenge Connie..... Be a man for once in your life..." Peridot said "you are not a kid anymore.... One day you will be king and rain over everything..." He said cutting the rope i was tied to in half steven got free thanks to his shield and we were about to break the door until we heard some knocking from it "what should we do now if it was the men of alex?..." I said "it can't be one of them u mean they knocked " w-who's there?" Steven said "are you serious?" I said "don't be stupid and open the door i have no intention of wasting useful energy in breaking a door" i that voice was a familiar voice one i wouldn't confuse with any other "jasper.." I said "wait I'll open it i have the key" said a rough voice that I've heard before the door opened and i saw someone i wouldn't want to see in a situation like this "oh...hey ruby peridot and steven this is Gabe he said he wanted to help with this mess" bismuth said unsumming his two hammers "sorry about before...i just had to do it he has my sister and if you are able to get him to jail and free her I'll be more than happy to help" he said "of course the more we are the better" i said smiling "ok that's the spirit ruby keep it up and we will be able to defeat Alex and his plan" peridot said smiling yea maybe....there is still that maybe....but thinking about it if i stay positive it will all work out.....just like peridot said
