Chapter 6 - Because I love you

Ge-an POV  

I saw the carving... It looks old but it is clear and readable...

It is really her Name, it is curve in this big, old tree.

She is here, She really did came and I am looking at this solid proof, I touch the carving and feel its every detail

My brow meet as I try to absorb the whole word that is in front of me

"Am I seeing it correctly?" I asked talking to my self, I scratch my eyes then look at it again to be sure. Is this the reason why I can't see her? the reason why we couldn't meet each other even if we waited and waited in this very same place for hours.

So... that explain why she sounds weird sometimes, she is not updated and confused in somethings that I tell her, I just thought it was because her place is not well developed that also make their living not updated with technologies. I smiled as I remember the time when I ask for her cellphone number so it is more easy for us to be in touch, she ask me what is a cellphone because she never have one nor ever see one.

But NO! wait! wait! how can this be possible? Is she playing jokes on me? "No!" I shouted to my self, why would she, she is not like that but...

The carving says...

"Maria 09'21'72" I said as I read again what I see on the body of the tree

I walk my way back to my room with a lot of things battling in my mind, I need to talk to her, I need to ask her may be I just interpreted it in a wrong way, it is not a date maybe just random number or something. Its just a coincident that it has the same month and day.

"Yeah, thats it" I said to myself again as I try to convince myself about what I saw in that tree. I have this in my mind as I feel my eyes shut.

I tried to open my eyes even if I don't want to, I can feel the ray on the sun coming in the room that reflects on me "arghh" who in the world open the curtain this early. As my eyes adjust, I saw my cousin Lei standing in front of the window humming like an idiot, I also saw him take a deep breath and exhale slowly with his eyes close, Feeling the air all the way to his lungs.

I throw my pillow that makes him stumble "at last, you are awake" he said grinning

"Close that window, I still want to sleep" I said with irritation

"Come on, loose yourself a bit" he said while pulling my feet

"Hey" I shouted while I try to free my feet from his grip

"Get up, you've been downhearted for quite a while now you need diversion" still pulling me out of the bed

"I'm not, I'm just sleepy" with my sleepy tone and cover my head with a pillow

Booogssh... he pull both of my feet hard and fast that makes me out of the bed

"Ouch" I rub my butt as I get up while he just laugh at me mockingly

after he laugh he look at me seriously and said "Couz don't think too much, she would wake up soon, okay?" He put his right hand on my left shoulder "For now lets go jogging, there's a lot of fresh girls in the morning, I mean fresh air" he said while laughing loudly, i shake my head in disbelief this guy is really a joke
