We're Still Just Kids

~A/N: This chapter is long. I think it's the longest I've ever written so far, I just didn't know how to end it. I personally think it got boring in some parts, but whatever. You have been warned! Enjoy!!~

Andy POV

Today is decathlon! :) I spring out of bed to get to school as fast I can. I use the bathroom, put on my , grab my bag, and head out the door to Midtown High. When I get there I see waiting by the bus. I walk over to Ned.

"Hey guys," I wave.

"Hey, Andy" they greet.

"Ned, what happened to Peter?" I whisper to him.

"He said he was gonna show" Ned whispers back.

"Ok,"

"Last night Peter told what happened with you two," Ned says nudging me and I just blush.

"Hey, it's Peter," Abe says. Everyone looks over in his direction

"Peter??" Liz asks.

"Yeah, I was hoping I could rejoin the team," He says hopefully.

"No, no way. You quit on us, stroll up and be welcomed back by everyone," Flash says shaking his head.

"Hey! Welcome back Peter" Mr. Winchester says greeting Peter,"Flash you are back to first alternate." I laugh to myself.

"What?" Flash asks in disbelief.

"He is taking your place," Mr. Winchester clarifies.

"Excuse me, can we go? I was hoping to get in some light protesting in front of one of the embassies before dinner." Michelle asks.

"Protesting is patriotic. Let's get on the bus," our teacher encourages.

~On the Bus~

"Focus up everyone, our next topic is the moons of Saturn," Liz says still testing us. UGHHH!

"Second law of thermodynamics," Cindy rings in.

"Frank Sinatra"

"Fort Sumter" Flash says

"Flash is wrong" Abe replies.

"Okay guys let's focus. Next one," Liz says

"Liz don't overwork them," Mr. Winchester suggests.

"Uh, strontium, barium, vibranium" Peter answers.

"Very good, Peter. Glad to have you back" Liz smiles.

Liz continues on with more questions and Peter makes his way to me and Ned in the back of the bus.

"I think tracking me is a complete violation of my privacy," Peter argues. Ned and I both point to the holographic map in Ned's hands. "That's different...It's just academic decathlon not a big deal..." Peter ends the call.

"You okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, just stressed that's all" Peter says running a hand through his hair.

I get up and sit right next to Peter,"Hey, just relax don't worry about ok. I'm gonna be with you the whole time. Got it?"

"Yup" Peter yawns. I lean my head on his shoulder and puts his arm around me. I reluctantly doze off for the rest of the ride.

~Few Hours Later~

"Wake up. Andy," Peter says gently shaking me, "We're here"

We get out of the bus and enter the building.
