•Eaters have a long tongue that folds in a pouch in the throat. This tongue is used for grabbing food or "scooping" it up.

•The "excess" folds inside the pouch to fit in the mouth and provide ability to talk.

•An Eaters' demonic form typically looks like a shadow, though they are more shapeshift-able than other demons. Due to their diet of corrupted souls, they can take on many monstrous forms.
