THE SECOND LOVE STORY

One week of faking smiles and laughters. One week of acting like everything is okay, like everything is alright.

Damn it. I'm tired of this, I'm fucking sick of this.

But I have to.

"Anak next week na ang birthday mo ah, saan mo gustong pumunta?" Mom asked me with a wide smiled so I gave it back to her and shooked my head.

"As ussual Mom, nataon na naman sa night ang birthday ko so maybe next time?" Sagot ko.

"Then let's go wherever you want after the night and out and battle of the bands?" She suggests pero umiling parin ako.

"You know I don't celebrate birthdays." Mahinahong sagot ko before standing and headed towards her to give her a kiss on the cheeks. "I'm leaving, Mom. See you later." I didn't wait for her to talk and just left the house with my new car given by Silver because they already let me drive again.

Actually, it's Saturday. No classes and practice but I still decided to get out from the house dahil lalo lang akong masisiraan ng bait if I stay there.

Palabas na ako sa subdivision ng masalubong ko ang itim na porsche ni Luke na papasok. Hindi naman nila alam ang bagong sasakyan ko so I blow my horn and let my windows down kaya wala sa oras na napaapak si Luke sa preno nya.

"Woah? New Car, Enriquez?" Gulat na sabi ni Nikko.

"Where are you going?" I asked ignoring what he just said.

"Natural sayo! Saan ba ang lakad mo?" Luke answered.

"Pit." Simpleng sagot ko and closed my window again.

I started driving and headed my way at the pit and two are are just tailing me. Pagdating sa pit ay wala ng tao maliban sa mga crew na naglilinis para mamayang gabi.

They all stopped and look suprised to see the three of us at minadali pa nila ang paglilinis. Ussualy, walang bartender sa umaga but upon seeing us mabilis na nag-serve sa amin ang bartender ng inumin na palagi naming kinukuha.

"How's the pit?" Nikko asked the other crew na nagkakabit ng christmas lights because, it's christmas for them.

"Ganun parin po sir. Lalo nga po yatang dumadami ang customer eh." He answered.

"Yung tropa ni Jhong, hindi na ba nalalagin dito?" Luke.

"Nalalagi parin po sir pero hindi na po sila naghahari-harian." They crew answered.

Later, I felt a hand tapped my shoulder at nang lingunin ko yun. I saw Felix wearing his glasses again.

"Too early for a drink." Sabi nya and Nikko let him sat beside him.

"Why are you awake, you're supposed to be sleeping by this hour." Sagot ko. Alas tres na ng madaling araw nagsasara ang pit kaya nakakapagtaka na gising parin ito ngayong 8AM palang.

"Can't sleep. Bakit nga pala kayo nandito?" He asked back and Luke and Nikko just laughed.

"Baka nakakalimutan mo, sa amin ito. Bawal na ba ang may-ari ngayon dito?" Luke asked between his laughs.

"No, that's not what I mean. Umagang-umaga kasi eh umiinom kayo and you don't ussualy come here with this hour." Mukhang nahihiya sya kasi namula pa ang mukha nya kaya lalo syang pinagtawanan ng dalawa.

"Na-miss namin ang pit eh." Nikko just answered and the rest, hindi na ako nakinig sa kanila dahil pinili kong maglibot nalang sa kabuuan ng lugar.
