I look up at that star,
It shines so bright no matter the hour.
It twinkles when it smiles,
It makes me want to touch the sky.
I feel like reaching up and grabbing it,
Before someone takes it away and ruins it.
'Cause I've admired it for such a long time,
And it's long past that I got to see it fly.
I hope it grows stronger,
'Cause the road ahead will be getting harder.
I hope it shoots across galaxies together,
And accomplishes what many couldn't have thought of.
But I hope after time and trials,
It retains its spark and it's smile.
'Cause it'd be a shame if it broke because of the world,
It's my precious star and I wanna see it burn.
Brighter than the brightest out there...
This is my star, I won't let it fall in despair.
