A/N: Words in bold means that it is spoken in English :)

(Y/N) means 'Your Name'

...

"Good morning!"

"How may I help you?"

"That'll be $29.99, thank you"

"Yes, I'll check the back for you."

"No, I'm afraid that is not on sale."

"Please wait"

"Thank you for coming"

"Come again soon!"

Repeat.

.
"(Y/N)! It's your break time!"

You collapsed onto one of the chairs in the backroom of the clothing store you were working for, exhausted. As much as you loved your job, you hated the holiday season due to the number of customers tripling in a day. If you had a dollar for every person who asked you to "check in the back" during the past month, you would probably be a millionaire already and wouldn't need to work another day.

Le time skip~

You quickly stuffed the rest of your sandwich into your mouth as you headed back to the counter, sighing with relief as you noticed that majority of the crowd had left only leaving a few customers walking around. You chewed slowly as you watched a group of boys around your age talking and laughing loudly as they browsed through the section for shirts. A couple of middle aged ladies were in the hats area admiring themselves in the mirrors.

Glancing at the clock behind you, you wanted to slam your head against the wall seeing that only 2 minutes had passed since your break and there was still an hour left until your shift is over.

"Why does time pass so slowly when I just want to get home and sleep?" You groaned and slumped your head onto the counter.

"Um excuse me Miss, do you have this shirt in medium size?"

Your head shot up as you blushed a crimson red worried that the customer infront of you had heard you complaining. Fortunately he just seemed to be just looking at the tag displaying the size of the black coloured shirt he was holding. You glanced at the design on the shirt before replying.

"Isn't that the same one as what you are wearing?"

"The style is different, see this one has slightly longer sleeves than the one I'm wearing right now"

"Oh ok I'll check in the storage room for you"

"Wait! If you can't find a medium size for this shirt, any other medium black shirt will be fine" the boy called out after you.

"You seem to really like black shirts" You replied as you opened the door to the storage room.

"Yeah, I love dark"

You stared at him blankly for a moment before processing what he had meant. You studied in Canada for a few years so your English was pretty good. "I see..."

Shifting through the labelled boxes, you managed to find exactly one medium sized black shirt. You were about to exit the storage when a bright yellow shirt with cute ducks printed on it caught your eye. You hesitated for a moment remembering how at first you thought the boy had said he loved ducks instead of 'dark'. Thinking up a plan to add amusement to your otherwise boring day, you grabbed the duck shirt as well and headed out.

Closing the door, you called out to the boy who was joined by his group of friends. "Sorry there aren't any black shirts left that's your size but I found a shirt that you may like." You tried not to laugh as you held up the yellow duck shirt towards him.

The group of boys all stared at you with looks of confusion displayed on their faces "... a shirt I may like?" the boy pointed at the duck shirt with a look of horror. "Yeah, you said you loved ducks right?"

A few of the boys who you assume understand English started laughing and repeating what you had said while the others waited for an explanation to why it was so funny. "No no no no, I said I love dark not ducks," the duck boy explained trying to prevent the embarrassment from getting worse.

You finally dropped your pokerface and showed him the black shirt you hid behind your back, "I know, I was just teasing you, here's the black shirt you wanted."
.
.
.
"Thank you and come again!" You said while smiling brightly, chuckling a bit as the boys kept repeating "I love ducks" as they left the store.

Third person's POV

After the eventful day at the mall, Changbin arrived back at the dorm and opened his shopping bag finding an unexpected surprise- apart from the black t-shirt he had purchased, the duck shirt was also there alongside with a note: That shirt has been sitting there in the storage for centuries, consider it as a gift/memory of today. -(Y/N)
Changbin grinned like an idiot and made a mental note to visit that shop and the cute girl again... soon
