It was love at first elbow to the nose.
When skirt-chasing TV star, Liam Black, gets violently thrown out of a no name actress's apartment, he's impressed by the sexy Z-lister's surprising amount of self-respect. (She's a Z-lister, after all.)
A subsequent encounter reveals that his almost-one-night-stand is not an actress but a hotshot Hollywood attorney, and Liam becomes intent on making her the Amal Alamuddin to his George Clooney.
Gemma Vaughn, however, has zero interest in Liam, whom she believes to be a walking STD. Unfortunately for her, the partner at her law firm all but demands she accept the trouble-making celebrity as a client.
Will Gemma be able to keep their relationship strictly professional, or will Liam break down her walls and compromise her heart (and maybe her health)?
REVIEW:
There's a thin line between Love and Obsession, and Liam Black is right in the middle with one foot firmly planted in Stalking, sweet as he may be.
Fakers is a book for mature readers, and it's not because of its theme. Rather, it's because a reader must be open-minded in order to understand the depths of its story.
Get ready for a gutting romance between a sharp career woman and an egotistical famous man full of satirical humour and questionable saccharine amour. You'll hate them, you'll love them. You'll laugh then you'll pull all your hair out.
But the question is, are you ready for it?
