1: Prologue

Ryder's POV:
Me and Katie have been dating for a couple of weeks now and everyone has been supporting us, but she's been acting different lately. As her boyfriend, I need to know what's going on. I took out my Pup-Pad and clicked Katie, she didn't answer. I called more times and there still was no answer. I decided to hop on my STV and drive to her place myself. As I walk in, she was brushing Garbi.
Katie:: "O-Oh h-Hey R-R-Ryder..."
Ryder: "Why haven't you been answering my calls?"
Katie: "O-Oh... it's just... uhhh... I've been busy, okay?"
Ryder: "Okay I guess... can we talk about it later??"
Katie: "N-No, I c-can't..."
Ryder: "Why???"
Katie: "Reasons, Okay!?"
Ryder: "Okay then..."
Katie has never been so harsh to me. Maybe she's just having a hard time, I need to surprise her tomorrow.
