They say,
Your happiness,
You control it,
Even if your wearing a mask,
Punch holes and pin it high,
Everyone will be dressed to question,
You start to go a little numb,
It's your fault,
That you feel this way she says,
They don't need me,
I'm just on the side play,
Take my mask,
I leave a fold in everybody's hearts.

Trying not to get to me but feeling it's getting the best of me,
They tell me,
I should speak to somebody but those dollars get the fear of me,
I say mamma,
You don't understand me,
Not blaming you,
Can't they see?
They give me subscriptions,
Thinking that'll help but that's temporary,
It lives in my mind,
Like an infection,
Waiting for my body to break out and Everything now is a draw out.
