Finally.

We finally arrived in California. We are literally 15-20 minutes away from our new house. I wonder what it looks like, I wonder how big it is, I wonder what it looks like inside.

I hope I meet new people. I would like to make new friends and all.

RC- (gasps) We're here!!!!
EC- We are!!! (shaking Shawn) Shawn, wake up!!!
SC(wakes up with a start)- I'm up!!!! (rubs his eyes) What happened?
CC- You went to sleep as soon as we got back in the car back in Nevada.
SC- (yawns) Oh, right.
RC- Come on let's get out of this car and go look at the house!
EC- I'm excited!
CC- Me too.
SC- Same.

We got out the cars and gasped at the sight of our new house.

CC- Oh. My. God.
SC- It's so big.
RC(shocked)- Erik, you bought this.
EC- Yep.
SC+CC- How?
EC- Well, the person who was selling it only wanted it for about $1700 so I had my old friend, who goes to college here, come here to take pictures. He emailed them to me. Said everything was in good shape so, I got a job. Three jobs to be exact. It took me four years to get the money together to buy this house.
CC- But, how'd you get the money here and back without dad knowing.
EC- Remember when I came down here for "training" for my job a few weeks ago.
SC- Yeah.
EC- That's how.
RC- That's amazing.
EC- Thanks.

The four of us stood there for about thirty more minutes just taking in our new life we are about to start.

EC- Well, let's go inside.

We all walked for what seemed like slow-motion to the beautiful front door of this mansion.

Mom looked back at us and slowly opened the door. We all gasped at the sight of the living room.
