(AN: I'm not sure if I'm doing something right, because I'm a guy, I don't know what a girl thinks. Btw this is a special chapter where we see what riven thinks starting from Chapter 2, we won't look at her past yet, because her past is another chapter... Sorry and hope you enjoy this special chapter...)
Riven's POV:
"I've been wandering around, and I saw a Sakura at a hill... Why does it always bloom? I don't have to solve this mystery..." -i thought to myself as I accidentally walked until I reach it-
"Well... Since I'm here, I'll train here... It's really shady and chilly... It feels nice..." - I thought to myself as I placed the dummy and start hitting it with full force in it's vital points-
"Why do I have to wield this burden? Why do I wield a sword? It's not like I don't want to, it's fun, but why am I the only one who wields this power?" -while she thinks this Mihile was already observing her, she doesn't know yet-
-Flashbacks-
"This is a disgrace!! We only have daughters!"
"Why do you care so much of having a son!?"
"If there is no man in this family there will be no one who will inherit my family's swordsmanship!"
"Stop it!! Please!! Stop hurting mother!!" -Riven desperately tries to stop her parents-
"Shut up you brat!" -her father tried to slap riven in the face but, ki burst out of Riven's body and made a shockwave that pushed back her father- -Riven's tears flow from her eyes-
-both her father and mother was shocked-
"We don't need a son..." -her father smiles and from that, riven was trained to become a swordswoman
And inherit her family's swordsmanship as she continues to train also using her ki-
-end of flashbacks-
-after she had thought of her past, she noticed Mihile-
"How long has he been there?" -said to herself-
"I was not staring! I just saw this Sakura!"
"I was just looking at your techniques! Because I also train to be a swordsman!"
"Oooh... So he's interested in my swordsmanship... Maybe I'll fight him later on" -speaks to herself-
"What is your purpose on using a sword...?"
"He still hasn't answered... Did he listen to me??"
(Author's note: Let's skip to chapter 3!!)
"Hey are you listening!?" I threw a small rock at him
"Wooh... His reflexes are fast!? Hmmm but I'm faster! I think..."
"What's your name?"
"What!? It's to sudden... Is he to be trusted... Well... He did say his name first... But what if he's lying? Well I ummm" -my thoughts were cut off short when he said something-
"My name is r-ri-riven!"
"Why did I hesitate? This was my chance to have a friend! Huh! I hate myself...! Now he'll think that I'm weird...huh... This sucks!"
"Cute name..."
"Eeek!! Why did he say that!? Did he mean it... Why am I feeling this... My face is blushing hard it feels so hot... Why am I like this!? It was just a compliment... Maybe Because he's the first guy I ever felt comfort... Eeek! What am I thinking!? Why do I feel comfort while talking to me!? Why do I feel at ease!? Huh I don't get it..."
-i asked him again to clear the cute name thing...-
"I don't really know... because I want to... I guess? How about you?"
"Why am I feeling this? Everytime he asks me I feel weird... My face feels hot and stuff... Just answer the question riven!! You can do it... Or you'll lose your chance!!" -she said to herself-
"To protect my family and my honor! I guess...."
"Eeek!! Why?! I don't even know why I use one... To protect my mother from my father... I think... Why did I say family!? The only family I have is my mother... Why honor? I don't really care about it..." - she said to her self-
"Why are you hesitant? Don't you trust me?"
"No it's not like that! Ummm-"
"I don't know why I'm hesitant... I do trust him but... I don't know anymore... Why am I like this??"
"Just forget it... Are we what they call friends? Do you want to be my friend?"
"Eeek!! It's going to fast... Did he mean it... Will he be my first friend?? My face feels so hot..."
"Well... Ummm it's embarrassing but... It's my first time someone ask to be my friend...plus you're a boy... But... Do you mean that?"
