"You gods have a weird definition of the word 'home'." I said as I shook my head. "This is more like a fortress."

Hades' 'home' is a giant fortress that was used a long time ago. Hell, giant is an understatement, this thing is as big as a small city.

"What would you do if you had a few millennia of spare time?" Thanatos said as he looked at me. "We gods do a lot to keep ourselves from getting bored."

I sighed. "I know you gods do a lot of ridiculous things, but this is a whole new level."

Thanatos chuckled. "If you think this is big, you should see Olympus itself."

I shook my head. "No thank you, my brain hurts just from this. I don't think I can stand something bigger."

Thanatos laughed. "Let's go, Hades is probably getting impatient."

We flew into the fortress and as we flew through a hallway, I was amazed at all the things I saw. Artwork depicting all the important events that happened in Greek Mythology, some giant trinkets and several other things.

As I mindlessly look around me, I suddenly realized that we had arrived at a giant black and gold door.

Thanatos turned to look at me. "You ready to meet him?"

I shrugged. "I think so."

As we go in, I am shocked at what I see.

A man dressed in what someone would wear to a formal party, is sitting on a sofa just looking at us.

"So, what is it Thanatos?" Hades, I presume, asked us.

"I picked a mortal." Thanatos explained. "As my chosen."

"So that's why you went to the land of the living." Hades nodded, understanding.

"Alright then, you might want to give him the test."
"Now?"

"Yes, I want to see why you pick him."
"Alright."

Thanatos turned to me. "My test involves you slaughtering a huge amount of enemies and killing as many as possible." He walked towards me. "You will fight many different enemies. The number depends on your strength."

"So, for me it will be a lot?"

"That is an understatement but yes, a lot."

"Alright then, start the test, I'm as ready as I can be."

"Good luck." He swiped his hand in front of my face and the world turned dark. "You'll need it."
