Colby's POV

I wake up at 10 am on Saturday.
The sun seeping through my blinds, creates lines of light across my bedsheets.

I grabs my covers, and throw them off of me to reveal my shirtless body I worked hard for at the gym.

I roll over to face my bedside table and grab my phone. Apparently, Sam had texted me an hour ago.

Sam
Are you awake?
9:31
Colby
I am now.
10:12

I stretch my body, and then get up from my bed. I walk over to my closet and pick a random shirt and put it on.

I yawn, and open my bedroom door cause I need the bathroom.

"Hurry up!" I shout at whoever is in there right now.

The toilet flushes, and Sam opens the door.

"Did you finally wake up?" He asks.
"Obviously." I reply.
"Hahaha." Sam sarcastically laughs, grabbing my shoulder to move me out of the way so he could get by.

"Oh, sorry." I apologise.
"It's fine. Go pee now." Sam smiles, that cute smile of his at me.

I swear his smile and laugh is contagious.

Anyways, I go pee, and then walk downstairs to eat.

The pantry has a lot of food in it, which is likely considering there's 5 guys in this house.

"Colby!"
Sam yells my name from upstairs, he sounds worried like something bad happened.

"Sam, what is it?" I ask when I reach his room.
"I found fanfictions." He says.
"Jeez, you scared me." I said, sitting next to him on his bed.
His laptop is opened up to Wattpad, the spot we go for the stories.

"We'll film it Monday?" I ask.
"Yeah sure." He said.
"And please, do not scream my name like that again. I thought you were hurt or something. That worried me." I say, getting up from his bed to go into my room.
I'm not hungry anymore.

I get a text from Elton saying:

Elton
Dude, when are you doing the thing?
10:56
Colby
Later.
10:57
Elton
Fine, around lunch.
10:57

I actually completely forget about the prank.

"Sam!" I yell from downstairs.
Corey had set up a camera in the living room to capture it.
"Coming!"

A few seconds passed, and Sam was in the room.
"Ok, I have something to tell you. I've already told the others." I said, with a serious face to make it a lot more believable.
"What is it?" Sam asks, sitting down but not breaking eye contact with me.
"I don't know how to tell you."
"I mean if you told the other guys, than how come you can't tell me?"
He looks concerned about it.
"Fine. I'm," I pause for dramatic effect.
"I'm?"
"Gay." I said, sighing.
"Oh really?" He gets up, and hugs me.
"Good for you."

All I see over Sam's shoulder is the guys silently laughing like jackasses.

Soon enough, Sam releases me from his tight hug and the guys turn serious again.

"When did you know?"
"A few months ago."
"Do you like anyone?"

Corey is pointing at Sam, cueing me to say him.

"Um, yeah." I blush on cue, looking down at my feet.
"Who is it then?"
"Someone in this room." I said.
"Which one of us?"
"You."

Sam's facial expression went from happy to paler than usual quick.
"Is that a pro-" I tried to ask only to be inturupted by him.
"No, it's fine I guess." He turns a light pink.

"Is that all the confessions you have?" He asked after a moment of silence.

"No."

"What's the other one?"

"YOU JUST GOT PRANKED!" I yell.

Sam stands there speechless.
"You little b*tch. Did all of you know this was a prank?"

They all nodded.

"Well then, f*ck you guys too."
Sam playfully pushes my shoulder, sending me stumbling backwards, but I catch myself.

"If I was ever to come out to you for real, I wouldn't have to worry about you absolutely hating my guts." I let out a small laugh.

"Why would I hate you? We've been best friends for how long?" Sam laughs.

"True." I shrug lightly.

"I still can't believe you did that."
