No Reason

Chapter 6

Karma pov
My eyelids began to slowly open and I saw that I was in a white room with a light beeping sound that broke the silence.

I closed my eyes to remember how I got here.
....

Memories of last night played in my head.
"!!"
I sat up in shock
That's right I-
"Karma..."
My thought was interrupted when I heard my name.
I turned around and saw the whole class.

"I I'm so sorry..." I whispered as I felt like tears were going to come any minute

Just then I felt a tenticale pat my head.
"No. It's alright."
I looked up and saw Korosensei next to me with the same smile he always had
"As long as your back" he finished
"..."
All I could do was reply with silence, but just then I saw Teresaka move forward and stand in front of me.
We both made eye contact until he hit my back
"Don't you go and do that ever again you got that! You have everyone a heart attack!"
"...haha!" I gently chuckled
"Yeah, sorry"

Everyone then smiled and went up to me and hug me.

However, there was one thing that I couldn't  get off my mind and it bothered me.
"Hey, where's Nagisa?" I asked

Everyone went silent and I felt tension rise in the room.
I got worried

Was he alright?

Did he get hurt?

Was he mad at me?

"... What's wrong? Where is he?" I asked almost afraid to hear what they were going to say
Sugino stepped forward
"Karma... he... he-"
"He's here"
I turned around and I saw Karasuma followed by Bitch sensei

I managed to stand up
"Take me to him, I need to talk to him"
"No"
"You"
I glared at him
"Why" I asked almost yelling
"He personally told me he didn't want to see you"
"!?"
My eyes widened, but my shock was replaced with anger and I grabbed his shirt collor
"I don't care! Take me to him!"
"Karma!"
"Karma"
"Don't do it Karma!"
I heard everyone yell but I ignored them
"I-I said such cruel things to him" I said in a lower voice
I can't even imagine all the pain he must be feeling right now, after all I said to him. I'm  such a horrible friend, I don't deserve him, he should be with someone who makes him smile, not someone who brings him pain.

Karasuma sighed
"I'm sorry Karma, please understand that Nagisa doesn't want to see you"
"Fine, I'll find him myself"

I spent around 5 minutes trying to find his room and was now in front of the door.

I opened it and I saw Nagisa sitting up looking out the window.
His hair was no longer in his pigtails, instead it was down to his shoulders.

My heart broke when I saw his left arm in a cast.
I knew I caused that.
"Nagisa..."
"What are you doing here? I thought I asked them not to let you in" he didn't turn to look at me
"Nagisa, you should know that's not doing to stop me"
"Akabane please stop it."
"!!"
Akabane?!
"Stop acting. I know you hate me, so you don't have to be my friend anymore"
"What are you saying? I would never hate you"
"I'm not stupid! I know the power of the tenticales. You already hated me from the start, they just helped you get that feeling off your chest!"
"Nagisa, I wasn't feeling hatred, it was jealousy"

Nagisa finally turned around to face me
"You? Jealous of me?"
"Yeah, you're the most talented assassin in the class"
".... that's why you stabbed me"
"!!"
That's right! How could I have forgotten!
I hurt Nagisa
"Nagisa I'm-"
"Did you know Karma... that I loved you"
Everything was going by soo fast and before I knew it I confessed my feelings to him
"Nagisa, I love you to"
He starred at me with wide eyes until..
"I don't think it will work out"
"Nagisa! I-"
"A relationship with no trust and pure jealousy"
"Nagisa!"
"Goodbye Akabane!"
I looked down and walked out his room in defeat

I should have expected this
Our friendship is forever ruined... because of me
