Chapter 7

Nagisa pov
Karma walked out and the door closed.

I was left alone in a silent room.

When I knew I was absolutely alone I let the tears I was holding in fall down my cheeks.
He loved me.....Karma loved me....
"I'm sorry Karma.."
"..."

"Why are you crying?"
I looked up in surprise to see Shiro in front of me
I wiped my tears away and glared at him
He only smirked
"It was you who told him to leave, so why are you crying? Do you regret making him go away?"
He began to walk closer to my bed
"Or is it because you're hiding something?"

He was now next to me and pulled my blanket off.
"Like how you're unable to walk"
I bit my lower lip in anger and looked down at my now paralyzed legs.
"Why didn't you tell Karma though?" He asked as if he didn't know
"...."
"Is it because you don't want him to blame himself for what happened to you"
"..."
"Interesting, you sacrificed your one and only chance with him, for him"
"Are you done" I glared at him
"I guess I'll be on my way"

He walked for the door and looked at me before he left
"I wish you well"

"Karma..."
A single tear escaped my eye

Karma pov
It's been a month since the incident and everything went back to normal.
Except Nagisa stopped coming to school.
I figured it was because he didn't want to see me and because he hadn't forgiven me.

I skipped class and walked down the hill.

As I was walking I found the tree me and Nagisa would always eat our lunch during our break
I touched it remembering the good times when
"What's this? Skipping school?"
I turned almost imidiently
"You!?"
"Relax, I'm only here to deliver a bit of information"
"Why would I want your information, Shiro"
"I'm sure you'll be very interested when you hear it"
"And why should I trust you? After what you did to me the first time?"
He chuckled
"It was you who decided to take it though"
"..."
"Anyway, it's about Nagisa"
I looked up
"What about him?" I asked not knowing what to expect
"It's seems you're interested"
"What about him!" I glared
"Haven't you wondered why he hasn't shown up or why no one talks or mentions him"
"Eh?"
That was true...
No one mentions him, not even Karasuma and the octopus.

Now that I think about it Kayano doesn't either.

Shiro interrupted my thought
"It's not that he doesn't want to come, more like he can't"
"... What do you mean?"
"It looks like they kept you in the dark"
"Spill it!"
"I hate to be the one to tell you, but your little angle is paralyzed"

"I don't know the details, but I'm guessing your tenticales hit a sensitive spot"

I stood in shock
