i. haymitch is only thirty years old. it fits with my plot and honestly it doesn't even change much

ii. haymitch won the games when he was seventeen, not sixteen

iii. briar is seventeen going on eighteen, same as katniss and peeta

iv. gale is nineteen

v. briar rose is president snow's only grandchild

vi. when i say 'capitol accent', i mean president snow's accent from the movie, which is basically an english accent. it also includes the hissing 's' sound that was described in the books.
