HEY GUYS! I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long.

(Copypastes all of Shake it Off by Taylor Swift because it actually fits her really well)

From the moment she comes onto the page/screen in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, you can tell Luna is comfortable with who she is. She knows she's weird, and that's how she likes it. Luna is the subject of a lot of bullying at Hogwarts due to her clothes, belief in a lot of superstitions, and the fact that her father runs a really weird magazine (that's actually right a lot of the time). But she sort of just takes it all in stride.

Luna is a kind and gentle person, and shows a lot of empathy for others, especially Harry, helping him at a time when he needs it most. She's also artsy, she makes her own jewelry and has a fun and quirky sense of style.

Luna's not all quirks though. She's also very wise and clever- there's a reason she's in Ravenclaw. She delivers some great insights on Voldemort's psyche: "If I were You Know Who, I'd want you to feel cut off from everyone else. Because if its just you alone, you're not as much of a threat." She also plays a key role in helping Harry find a Horcrux.

Evanna Lynch does an amazing job playing her. She really has fun playing the role, and her high, sweet, whispery voice lends itself to the character perfectly. She even made Luna's famous Dirigible Plum earrings that she wears in the movie!

Luna is one of my favorite supporting characters of all time. She's a great role model for girls who walk a little off the beaten path, and shows that you're a much happier person if you embrace what makes you "you".

Here is a terrible quality picture of me that I took with my Kindle. (Yeah, I'm so detached from the social norm I take pics with my bloody KINDLE.) Yes, I am wearing a Beatles shirt.
