An encounter with a beast at this scale was never anticipated. It had the typical features that caused most to wretch in fear. It's corse fur a deep black, staring into was almost like staring into the void, and the void stares back. It's four red eyes rested upon my form. Despite the eyes the creatures face was like that of a wolfs, but its mouth were far too big and its teeth far too sharp. The rest was wolf like as well, what stood out was its protruding spine and the blood seeping from its nails. It snarled at me before returning its gaze on whatever it was before me. I only got a glance and saw that the creature had other plans. It had already claimed its prey meaning I'd live to see another day.
