Chapter 31

Chapter 31: Severed Bonds

It was morning of the day that Director Konoe gave to all the actors to relax, and most of the actors chose to spend the day in the hot spring. Kyoko chose not to, as she wanted to walk around where she grew up on her own as Ren was with the other guys in the male hot spring and she didn't want to bother him.

She walks out of the Ryokan when she hears a man yelling her name, she didn't stop as she knew exactly who it was.

"What does he want now...I have nothing left to say to that kid." Kyoko thought to herself as she continued to walk.

Sho grabs her wrist to stop her from walking any farther away, "I need to talk to you, Kyoko..."

Kyoko pulls her arm away from Sho, " I have nothing to say to a pathetic little worm like you, who would stoop so low as to lie to his own parents just so they can hate me..." she continues to walk away.

Sho was shocked at first, but his shock quickly turned to anger as the words 'pathetic little worm' began to sink into his head, "Those words...she was that Punk Bitch! The one that insulted me 5 months ago...." he thought.

Once again Sho grabs Kyoko's wrist, but this time it was harder so she couldn't pull her arm away, "You Shape-shifting soul-sucking demon! You were that bitch dressed as a punk girl that night...."

Kyoko flinched from the pain, then she heard Sho, "What about it? I am an international actress I do roles constantly..." She didn't see exactly why he was so angry.

Sho releases her wrist, "You're not an international actress or anything, you're nothing but a piece of dirt." With that, he shoved Kyoko to the ground. "You belong on the bottom; on the ground." Sho chuckles, hoping this was teaching her what she really was.

Kyoko lets out a slight scream when she hits the ground, as it hurt a little and caused a few cuts from the rocks she landed on. "You are just jealous that I am more popular then you..." she says as she gets up off the ground and dusts herself off.

"You aren't, your revenge plan against me wasn't successful...I am still better than you ever will be." Sho smirks even though he heard in her interview before that she was no longer out for revenge against him. He still wouldn't believe that for the purpose of his own ego, and because he wanted to keep the part he had in her heart and mind.

Kyoko sighs, "I stopped wanting revenge on you years ago...I have a better goal," she begins to walk away. "I am better than you and more well known than you; I am Second on the most desirable woman's list well you aren't even in the top 5 of the most desirable man's list."

That struck Sho's ego hard. This girl that he grew up with was indeed better than him. The point she just made about not being in the top 5 also chipped at his ego and angered him.

Sho grabs Kyoko's wrist out of anger, spinning her around to look at him. "You can keep thinking that but you are nothing..." He now pushed her against one of the trees on the edge of the forest they were in.

Kyoko lets out a scream from the tree hitting her back and the sharp bark stabbing into her, causing some cuts and bruises to form.

Ren was walking into the main lobby of the Ryokan, just returning from the hot spring. He had left because he had wanted to see Kyoko, as he didn't get to see her since the night before. He also wanted to get away from Murasame, who wanted to know more about Kyoko and how to get with her, which Ren tried to avoid talking about just so he wouldn't lose his temper.

"First, he tried to go after her when she was Setsuka and now that she is herself he is trying to go after her again ...she is mine now and after this movie, I will try to make it so that they don't work together on any other movies..." Ren thought to himself as he sees a few people looking out a window in the main lobby.
