Previously...
Bry got out of the O.R. about 11:30 the morning after she arrived. Peiji came to see her best friend and Bry said she wanted to make Peiji just like her.

Peiji: You wanna...make me like you?
Bry: Yes! We've known each other since we were 2. You would be perfect for this group. We could finally get some lost friendship time back.
Peiji: But will I be cut out for it. I mean look at me...
Bry: Peiji...Ive known you for a long time. Don't say that to yourself. You will do great...AND, we can practice our powers and flying together!
Peiji: Bry, I love you!
Bry: I love you too Peiji!
....I need some food.
Peiji: CAN I GET SOME SOUPY SOUP FOR MAH BURGER FRIEND OVER HERE?!
Bry: *smiling* Oh my lord

*They both hug and Peiji leaves the room.

*Bry is out of the hospital and one wing is still in a cast*

Lilly: Great! What are we gonna do at school?
Bry: There's Mark, Jack, and let's meet up with them and let's try to get through the school day...
Lilly: Everybody is going to be looking at is funny...
Bry: Ya I know. Let's all walk together
*They meet up with the rest of the group*
Nate: Hey guys...
Bry: Whats wrong Nate?
Nate: I...I...
Mark: Nate? What's wrong?
Nate: I...I think I'm gay...
*Everybody turns in shock*
*Nate starts crying and Bry pulls him to the side*
*Everybody else starts talking about what will happen in school*
Bry: That's great! To be honest, I'm really proud of you! I have nothing against gay people.
Nate: But...but I...
Bry: Hey...stop crying and come here
*Bry gives him a hug and Nate cries on her shoulder*
Bry: You can be whoever you want to be and like whichever gender you want to like.
Nate: It's not that...I... really...like...Mark...
Bry: *eyes light up* REALLY?!?!
Nate: Ya....I just don't know how to tell him...
Bry: Don't you worry. I'll talk to him.
Nate: *blushes* You sure?
Bry: Yes. For sure. You're in good hands.
*They meet back up with the group*
Lilly: Well, let's go!
Jack: *Grabs Bry's hand* Ya, let's go!
~We are walking up to the front of the school. Jack's holding my hand...Nate is still blushing...Mark looks tired...and Lilly looks scared.~

Lilly: Everybody's looking at us...
Bry: I know. Just follow me and you'll be fine. Major told us we need to go to the ROTC room as soon as we get to school.
Random student #1: Are those the kids of the accident two weeks ago?
Random student #2: Ya! They are so cool! I really wanna talk to them!

Bry: Oh no...this is going to be a long year...a very...long...year
Jack: Yes...yes it is babe...
Bry: *sighs* here we go.
