"Please just one!" Sakura asks Pein once again for a cookie.

He knew was making a careless mistake when he agreed for Konan to let the girl be under their watch.

She was an enemy. Even though she remembered nothing of them or who she was, it was a risk keeping her. Anytime, she could revert back to her original age and attack them but he still wanted to take the risk. Sure, he was the most wanted ninja in current time but he was no monster to kill a child for no reason. She had proved to be no threat to them so far and having her around had made things more enjoyable.

He wouldn't admit that he had grown a soft spot for her. The way she came to him for help or the fact she was a little bit more attached to him than the other male members. He felt like he had a role to play and that was of a father.

"Sakura, you aren't allowed to have any cookies before dinner." She pouted at him for a few seconds before he caved. "Alright. Just one but don't tell Konan."
