Guys wow, Crystal is fucking beautiful!!! Her lips make my eyes flutter, her eyes make my heart skip a beat, her hair makes my stomach turn, and her smile.......SMILE, it makes me jump. Everything about her is perfect, except her age.....16, idk man.
"Edwin you ready to catch that case bro?" laughed Brandon
"What case?" I was shook
"Dude, she'es 16...you're 18." Zion said bluntly
"Well I mean. It's only 2 years and her birthday probably coming up, right Janel?" I smiled at her.
"Mmmmm coming up as in May." Janel reassured me
"BET! She'll be 17 in no time bruh!" I looked at her as she looked around the mall. "Tu primera vez aqui Crystal?" I asked her (your first time here)
"sim" (yes) she replied as she looked at me.
"Well I came here to shop, so leggo." Janel took Zion's hand and we all followed.
Janel's POV
Edwin is all wrapped up in Crystal's beauty that he might be frighten to know where she comes from. I mean probably the same for Zion, because Crystal and I come from the same place :/ I'm nervous to explain.
"Ooo I like this right here." I walked over to the Thrasher t-shirt.
"Bet. Lemme get one too." Zion took his size and moved on. "So you gonna tell me what's going on with you and your friend?" He kept looking around and picked up a hat.
"Mmm not yet." I walked behind him.
He rolled his eyes and went to the cash register. Ugh I hate when he pressures me to do shit. Like last week I didn't want to go to this get together with him for his friend and I was so uncomfortable.
"Ok it will be $125.67" the guy said to Zion. He paid for it and walked out the store.
"And for you it will be $86.45" I gave him a 100 bill and told him to keep the change.
"What's your issue Z?" he just kept walking. "Dude!" I yelled
He came walking in front me in my face saying "My issue is you not feeling "comfortable" enough around me to just talk. Like Damn man when are you going to be comfortable!? We've been together for like 2 (1/2) months, almost 3, and I feel like I don't know you! You too scared too do this shit, too scared to do that. FUCK!" He was so heated.
"Zion you don't understa---" He cut me off yelling
"IM TRYING TO UNDERSTAND YOU JUST NEED TO TELL ME!"
I pulled him to the side of the mall because I didn't want to embarrass us even more and I yelled at him "I AM FROM BROOKLYN NEW YORK, WITH CRYSTAL. AND WE WERE SOLD INTO SEX TRAFFICKING BY OUR FATHERS TO THIS NIGGA NAMED MAXIMILIANO! HE SENT US OUT EVERY NIGHT TO GET RAPED BY MEN WHO PAID MAXO. WE CANNOT HAVE RELATIONSHIPS BECAUSE WE ARE AFRAID THAT HE WILL FIND US AND TAKE US BACK. WE WERE IN THAT SITUATION FOR 3 YEARS! I FINALLY RAN AWAY TO AN AIRPORT AND FLEW HERE TO MEET MY MOTHER WHO WAS OBLIVIOUS OF THE WHOLE SHIT BECAUSE MY FATHER IS A FUCKING ANIMAL!"
"Oh my---" I cut him off to finish
"AND YOU KEEP RIDING ME TO TAKE BIGGER STEPS, DO THIS, DO THAT. AND I AM TRULY AFRAID TO GET HURT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN FUCKING GETTING HURT SINCE I WAS LITTLE . IT'S HARD FOR ME TO OPEN UP TO PEOPLE BECAUSE OF MY SHITTY PAST. THAT'S WHY CRYSTAL DOESN'T LOOK PEOPLE IN THEIR GODDAMN EYES. SHE IS SCARED OF WHAT THEY'LL DO TO HER! SHE WAS YOUNGER THAN ME WHEN WE WERE SOLD INTO THAT SHITHOLE OF A BUSINESS, AND I TOOK CARE OF HER ASS!!!! AND YOU WANNA KNOW WHY WE'RE SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL, AND HAVE NICE BODIES?? IT'S BECAUSE WE WERE FORCED TO BE IN SHAPE AND THEY HAD PEOPLE COME IN TO MAKE US TAKE CARE OF OUR SELVES TO LOOK GOOD FOR THE MEN WHO WERE TO LATER RAPE US THAT NIGHT!" I ran away from him after that.
I ran into Crystal and Edwin so I took her and left.
"Wait Janel where y'all goin?" He asked "Why are you crying?"
"Leave it alone Edwin!" I yelled and left.

Zion's POV
What the fuck did Janel just tell me......... I have to find her.
"Edwin did you see Janel?" I asked him as I met the guys.
"Yea, she took Crystal with her, and she was crying."
"Damn!"
"What happened?" asked Nick
"I fucked up."
"What did you do bro?" Edwin sounded a little mad.
"I-I uh" I stuttered
"Go ahead, chill" Austin encouraged me
"I yelled at her about not telling me about her and Crystal."
"What you mean?" Brandon was confused
"Like I told y'all Crystal kinda weird, and Janel was mean when we met her." I started
"Yea, so?" Edwin said
"There's a reason for that!" I said loudly
"Aye calm down, calm down." Nick consoled me. "What's the reason? Did she tell you?"
"Yea........" my eyes saddened and I choked on my tears. "It's because they were sex trafficked for 3 years."
"WAIT WHAT?!" Edwin was surprised "What the actual fuck?"
"I know dude. That's why Janel was mean. She had been through so much shit from guys, and Crystal was younger when she was sold so she is scared to look men in the eyes maybe because she was abused." I said.
"What do we do?" asked Austin
"Nah not we. I am going to find my girl. Can I get the keys Nick?"
"Bro let me at least drive you, you're upset, you might---"
"Dude! I NEED TO DO THIS ALONE!" I got upset.
"Nick give them to him, we can just Uber. Let him handle his business." Brandon said.
"What about me?" asked Edwin
"Edwin you just met that girl. You do not know her. Go home." I took the keys and ran to the car.
