Chapter 10

This is so awkward. He's staring at me again. After lunch, he dragged me off to his room. Here we are sipping hot tea 'peacefully'. This man , doesn't he know it's rude to stare?

I sip my tea and stare back at him maintaining a calm facade. I will say it, I am very lucky to have this not yet seeming useful skill of maintaining expressionless face. It's not like I am never afraid or nervous, I just don't show it on my face. At least not till it's a very sore situation.

Speaking of emotions and feelings, I think it's a very enigmatic subject. While I have never studied psychology and I don't have a deep understanding of this topic, I do try to understand them in my own way. Grief, love, pain, joy. Sometimes I can't help but get confused what I'm feeling. There were times when I felt I don't feel enough and at times, I think I feel too much. The very aspect I am feeling so much seemed painful sometimes. Oh the horror of being human. I wish I was a system. Sigh.

'Eh', I lost myself in my own philosophy. 'Ahem.'

I look up again after waking up from my daydreaming. =_= What is with this guy?

He smiles and chuckles," Ah! Seems Ah Zhu is worried about something. "

"Ah...haha it's nothing . ", I smile with difficulty. This is torture. 'Ah Shi save me.'(TT)

[Host!!]

'Eh, Ah Shi!!', I feel sappy. I am saved.

[Host, I am coming in.]

'.....'😶

Both of us turn around as the door opens up. An onyx haired man comes in. His mouth is covered. He looks like a ninja, ones we see in cool movies. His arms are covered by red bandages and a purple coat is hanging loosely over his sleeveless white vest and puffy black pant. His shoulders are bare showing skin. His hair are cut short  but there's a clothe bound around his forehead with the end pieces hanging upto his hips. Really cute. He looks at me and then at the creepy guy. The creepy guy is scrutinizing him with sharp eyes.

[Host, it's me.]

'Eh! Ah Shi!!.'

OMFG he's Ah Shi!!

[Host why are you here?]

'That...'

[Don't tell me you have found a new love interest.]

'Ahhh ! Ah Shi, my heart only belongs to you. How can you say something like this?', I pout in my mind obviously.

"Who are you?", The creepy guy asks Ah Shi.

"Ah.. he's my...."

"I am Zhu's friend. We came here together. Who might you be, sir?", Ah Shi interrupts me.

I was going to say he's my younger brother. It's not like anyone knows me!!

The man silently regards Ah Shi," I am his fiancée."

😶😱😲😵' What is this??,' I have a deadpan expression as my brain crashes down.

[Host. You even married off yourself so soon. Are you really in such a hurry to create a harem?]

'I don't know him. Who is he? Staring creeply at me all day, now he calls himself my fiancée. Ah Shiiiii, save me!!', I pour out all my grievance.

[You were with him all day and you don't know who he is?] My cute Ah Shi looks at me as if I were a dumb animal. So mean!!

'Ah,' I cough. ' I was busy.'

[Doing what?]

'I was thinking about this and that.', I feel embarrassed. I totally forgot to ask him his name.

[Host, he's the young master of Cao family.]

'Ehhh!', I look at the creepy guy in surprise.

He smiles at me," Ah Zhu, your father must have sent you a letter explaining everything?"

"That... I don't know anything. He just spoke about this and that and that he's doing me a favor to save family name.", I look at him blankly. 'Is he bluffing or is he a pervert?'

[Host you just fucked up your families' fate!]

'Eh! What did I do?', I ask him as I look back at the creepy guy. His face just darkened and the temperature dropped to minus it seems.

'Is he related to this matter?', I wonder.
