In English class today we read a poem that I love. Now just to let you know I hate poetry so much, I hate it and I suck at it. So this says something.

I read it last year but it didn't really do anything to me until this year.

But before I start talking about it. I am dedicating this to one of my friends. A year ago on this day her brother died, no one knows how but he was only 13. I knew him and my friends did too and it devastating to all of us. Today was a rough day for pretty much all my friends and especially the sister. But I am so glad that we read this poem today because this is perfect for her and for him and for everyone.

It is called Still I Rise by Maya Angelou

Please read this, it is so so so important.
Here's her saying it.

I love the meaning to this.

Now we had to respond to all these questions and this actually reminded me of Aelin a lot. A little bit of Feyre but mostly Aelin.

These were my responses, and I feel like I was writing more about Aelin and then Maya but it still goes with it

I just love the meaning of this poem.

But please just take all of this into consideration because we never know what is about to happen and this will help.
