*3 weeks later*

Mariah POV:

Its been three weeks since I talked ta August. Y'all juss don't know. He really pissed me off dat day FRFR! I was already pissed off cuz of Quan. Then I get home, August gets mad at me! He's thinkin' I knew dat Quan and his niggas killed Mel. I broke up wit Quan and cut off my communications wit him. So I ain't know ANYTHANG dat was goin' on ova there. And on top of dat, August didn't believe me. I neva lie. I tried and I suck at it. I laugh when I lie. Besides from Aug, I'm one of tha realist people you will eva meet. He called and texted me but I juss ignored it. I'm still wit him. I'm juss not talkin' ta him. When tha bell rung, I walked into first period and sit at my table like usual. I put in my earphones then walks in August and tha tick, I mean Laylah. She all touchy touchy, but his face is sayin' bitch leave me alone! Lol she so desperate. August sees me and smiles. All I could do was smile back...

August POV:

I ain't talked ta Mariah in three weeks. I ain't gon' lie...I miss ha. And LAYLAH is gettin' on my nerves. She trynna holla cuz she think me and MeMe done. Well we're not. She was pissed tha fuck off dat day and I juss made it worse. She tol' me since I ain't believe ha go find out fa myself. So I did. But I took awhile ta tell ha cuz she was ignorin' my calls and texts. Afta I found out, I thought ta myself she was tellin' tha truth. She can't lie and neva have lied ta me or anyone else. So I have ta tell ha sorry. As I walk into my first class, I see ha sittin' at our table but LAYLAH fuckin' up my vibe and Mariah notices it cuz she's laughin' at how desperate she is lol. I smile at ha and she smiles back. Surprisingly...

Me: "Wassup"

I gave Mariah a hug and she hugged back. Is she okay?

Mariah: "Hey Aug"

Me: "You been good?"

Befoe she could answer tha question...Laylah interrupts

Laylah: "Hey August. Do you want to chill tonight? I'm-"

Me: "Look, I'm talkin' ta my girl. Ion want chu so leave..."

Laylah: "But-"

Mariah: "Trick he said leave! Are you dumb or deaf?"

Well! Laylah got tha point lol. When she walked away Mariah looked back at me like nun happened

Mariah: "Yea...I guess" She said shruggin' ha shoulder

Me: "MeMe-"

Ha phone went off and she rolled ha eyes

Mariah: "Uhhhh...aye I gotta go..."

She grabs ha purse, backpack, and stands up and walks away but I pull ha back by ha hand

Me: "Can I get a kiss befoe you leave?" I asked wit a smirk on my face

Mariah: "Aug, I gotta-"

Me: "Beybe..."

I do my puppy dog eyes and she starts smilin'. Dat always works lol

Mariah: "*laughs* Fine. Come'ere"

She leans forward and kisses me but I deepened it and she kisses back. I pull ha closa ta me and she grabs my hands. Yea we in class but Ion care. I pull away and peck ha lips

Me: "Thank you" I said smilin'

Mariah: "Mhmmm. Bye August"

Laylah POV:

Its been awaile so I'm back! August and Mariah haven't been talking for three weeks straight. They must've broken up. So I see this as my chance to get him. I don't care of it costs Mariah's life. I walk with August to class because I want to talk to him, I mean who wouldn't? As I'm talking to him, he sees Mariah and smiles at her. I'm going to steal her man just like I did the others. While I'm talking he walks away to his table and talks to her. Me being me, I go and interrupt
