"the day you left was the day I left myself."

8 years later.

The sound of slow heavy footsteps dragged across the gravel.

In the dark cold alley the girl walked through.

Her body thin and frail.

You can hear the faint sirens of police cars.

The angry dogs barking.

Drunk men punching and groaning in pain.

Women walking down the streets in revealing clothing on their way to clubs.

And kids wrestling for food.

This was all normal.

The girl planned on going to the dumps looking for food there.

But as the girl turned the corner and saw a restaurant.

She smelt all the nice food.

She ran to the door.

One of the waitresses looked at the girl in disgust.

She looked at the girls browned shirt with holes at the arms and upper bust.

Her pants that were too many sizes large and her greasy hair with dirt all.

And then she looked at her face.

Her face was covered in dirt she had big bags and her face was dangerously slim.

She was then surprised by the violet glow of the latters irises.

She had never seen a girl with purple eyes.

The lady looked into her amethyst eyes.

and still had no mercy.

The waitress opened the door and shooed her away like she was some type of animal.

The little girl got on her knees looked up at her with pleading eyes as she rubbed her hands together.

And the waitress pushed her.

She hit the floor, got up and walked away looking at her one more time.

She started walking through the alleys again.

She could barely walk.

She could barely hear.

All she could hears her own shallow breaths and heart beats.

She kept walking.

She became dizzy and lightheaded.

She hears a faint ringing as her vision became spotty.

Then her body hit the cold gravel.

The last thing she remembers seeing was the ripped fence and police lights running by.

'this is it' she said in her mind.

And then it was black.
