We got to Honolulu last night. since me and Cody are really the only couple who sleep together we got the biggest bedroom that came with a bathroom. Today I took Holland, Victoria, and Shelly shopping and when we went to the store across from Da'kine i swear someone from inside noticed me. we soon went back to the house and ate. It was about 6:00 when i went to go out and got stopped. "Babe where are you going." i turned around saw Cody there. i played with my bracelet and looked at him. Today i took the girls to the store that was across from da'kine and it just made me really miss that place. i wanted to go over there so i could at least do the unfinished paperwork that's there. it calmed me down when i needed it." he nodded. "Don't be late ok?" I nodded and headed out.
When i reached da'kine and parked in front of the doors that i usually enter. I felt weird being here after 4 years. but i also felt a little excited. i remembered all the times my dad had drove us here and let us stay here after we begged him to let us come to work with him. i smiled at the memories. i got out of the car and unlocked the door. i went to my old desk and saw a name on it. 'Leland Chapman'. huh my dad took my old desk. weird. i sat in the chair and looked all around. wow did i miss this place. it was where me and Dakota practically grew up. it was a second home to me. i went and grabbed all the unfinished paper work off of everyone's desks and put it at mine. it was a big load but i knew i could do it. i tried to get in to the computer after i put in my dad's usual pass code but it didn't work. "You know dad changed his password after you left." i jumped at the voice. the lights came on and i looked at where the voice came from and i couldn't believe my eyes. "You know i didn't believe dad after he said he saw you earlier. i told him he was imagining things but your really here Belles." "Dakota!" i jumped on him and laughed. we hugged for a while and he looked at me. "Wait what are you doing here?" "Well i thought i'd spend the fourth of July in Hawaii." he looked at me knowing i was lying. "Ok. my friends convinced me to come here. i only agreed because i wanted to be able to sneak here and do paper work. it was somehow calming me." he laughed. "You also said that tackling big guys was a stress reliever." i laughed. "What are you doing here." he looked at me. "Same as you. i came to do paper work. i want to ave the day off tomorrow." i nodded. he looked at the stack on my desk. "You know that's only a fourth of what we have unfinished right." i looked at him. "we have a whole room of files." i smiled. "Well let's tag team it. just like old times." he smiled. "I'll order pizza and you make coffee. we'll be here all night." i smiled and we got to work
after we ate and caught up we got to work. the only thing i was having trouble on was getting into dads computer. "He changed it about a week after you left." i looked at Dakota then back at the computer. i typed in the only thing that came to my mind 'Isabella'. it worked. The screensaver popped up to be a picture of me and dad. he had me on his shoulders and we were doing the Shaka sign. a tear slipped from my eye. i missed him. "He misses you Bella. we all do." i looked at dakota. "What they said hurt big bro. but i guess leaving hurt and then never talking to them again never really was the smothest." he nodded and we got back to work.
