Chapter 8: A Beginner's Trap

We walked down the first hallway cold and eerie the dungeon was, just walking down it gave me shivers, we arrived in the first room Jordyn equipped himself with what looked like golden guns they were shining and looks fancy

There was a shiny treasure chest in the hallway I ran towards it "stop how old are you?" I forgot I'll just say my best guess "around a week or so?" I was unsure but why is he asking? "right and suspicious shiny chest in a dungeon in the middle of the hallways doesn't raise any flags for you?"

I wonder what he meant by that? "uhh" I was puzzled by his question chest = treasure right? he walked toward the chest an his body flash white for a second indicating he loaded a skill, as he opened the chest holes opened in the wall

A bunch  of arrows shot out of them at him from both sides but in and instant both this hands moved towards the arrows opened their palms and grabbed them all, he wasn't even looking at the arrows and he had a bundle of them in his hands

"What skill was that I know you used a skill you body flash white and I heard a ting sound" I was shocked though now that I calm down and think about it he is at the peak of Millenian strength "I used [Untouchable] an advanced level skill that can only be learned when you're in an advance class" I can't wait with that power I won't even have to dodge plus I'd look like a total badass

When I stepped into the first room a gate slammed down behind me blocking Jordyn he could probably get through but he's probably testing me, there were 6 enemies 3 Ghosts and 3 Zombies, the Ghosts started charging up magic well the zombies were surrounding me I used [Windmill] to blow them all away

My sword didn't cut through them but it knocked them back and them I rushed toward the Ghost charging magic it he finished charging it and had 5 [FireShots] charged at once and hailed me with them all

I used [Berserk] I couldn't be knocked back in that state but a zombie attacked from behind it took 1 second to load [Windmill] and use it again, it knocked the zombie back but I took a huge amount of damage I only had half oh my heath at most after those attacks

Then I heard a alarming the sound of something huge coming towards me, I turned around it was a fireball I somehow knew the blast radius and that'd it'd kill me in one hit, it must have been the [Battle Sense] skill I jumped and rolled out of the way and barley dodged it

Then used [Windmill] on 2 of the Zombies coming at me then before one of the Ghosts could charge up I used [Shining Sword] it made the reach of my sword longer and didn't break it since this was above tier 4

I used [windmill] I cut the Zombies in half easily and made the Ghosts fliker a bit but not by much, they were scary, they didn't look human at all it had the shape of a human but where their feet should be there's nothing

They're transparent and have scary glowing eyes "use magic" Jordyn yelled at me through the bars I loaded [FireShot] a ball of fire floated around me I loaded it again it got bigger then I shot it at the Ghost

It was knocked back, then I heard a crash from the bars where Jordyn was in that instant the whole room was caught in a snow storm, then it was covered in ice and so cold I couldn't stop shivering

The Ghosts were frozen "[Freezing Tundra]" he said the name in a cool voice with his breath visible and his hands in his pockets "this is why so many people died even though they had a strength boost most people couldn't make it passed the first floor" he looked so cool like a badass who isn't fazed by anything

I can see why they all died I had my hands full with just the zombies, and I had to use shining sword if he didn't give me a 7th tier weapon I'd probably run in here with at most a 3rd tier sword and have it broken

"I think  this only suits intermediate level Millenians the Ghost the hardest obstacles can only be killed with magic but there are only 3 skills magic a beginner can learn and they're worthless unless trained properly plus they have intermediate level magic skill like [FireBall] and {IceSpear] not to mention [Thunder] like the 3 projectile skills beginners can learn [Thunder] and [IceSpear] can't be dodged not by any skill there's only 1 skill that can evade those magic skills and it's [Intangible] a Master level skill that's very hard to obtain"

Wow why the hell is this dungeon even in the second town it makes it seem like a beginner's trap, there's even a beginner level skill that can only be obtained by completing this dungeon, now that's a dick move who the hell even created those instructors who give out annoying pointless quests

"Most likely this was made the thin out the population of the world it is getting a big over crowded I mean most people have been here since the beginning for time also they had to make 200 copies of the same world and let you travel between them any time just so 1 town doesn't become to crowded and half the time they still are they even had to change the way babies are made so creating new life isn't something anyone can do I don't even know where babies come from and I'm over 100.000 years old it used to be so simple just fuck someone from the opposite gender the the female will give birth you teach it how to do shit then 1000 years later you go whining to your kid to give you money because you blew it on some expensive armor"

wow I had no idea, I always wondered why there were 2 genders I thought it was just for variety "enough about that I'll use only Intermediate level skills to beat this dungeon [Evasion] [ComboStar] [Thunder] [FireBall] [IceSpear] [ManaSheild] [MagicMastery] [StrongBody][SixthSense] [GunMastery] [ExplodingShot] [LightningShot] [FlamingShot] [FreezingShot] [HealAll] those are all the skills that are between Intermediate and Advanced levels you can learn though they'll be more powerful wielded by me
