this year you're bleeding
but that's okay
because he bought you chocolate
on Valentine's Day
but flowers die
and chocolate melts
he was sweet,
occasionally heartfelt?
but it wasn't enough
this wasn't okay
so he'll be the one bleeding
next Valentine's Day

I always try to write romantic poetry because I myself am a hopeless romantic but I somehow always end up turning the poem into a murder like am I okay???
I have so many ideas for "valentines day" themed poetry but it might be posted in the upcoming days instead of today because I'm sorta busy with school.
