Chapter 9- Confession.

Holy shuckfaces, what did that shank just say? You thought mentally. Your palms became sweaty and your heart rate started to increase.

"Y/N?" Aris said, while clicking his fingers in front of your face. You realised that you zoned out for a good thirty seconds before snapping out of it. You looked up at the Boy, his eyes suddenly drowning in sadness.

"Too soon?" Aris sniffed. Your jaw dropped to say something but then shut again. "Ahh, sticks I should get going, I've got to get back to investigating the vents." He blundered while standing up and strolling to the door.

"Wait! Aris!" You called. Too late. He left. You slithered back to your bed and processed what just happened. You realized how hurt both of you were, so you grabbed your pillow and sobbed into it for what felt like five years.

Blasting alarms started to ring throughout the building, signalling that it was time for the people that were suspected to leave for a better life...
