sam was childish in a lot of ways he was still a child he didn't realize how much of a responsibility it would be when you had a child which is why you guys broke up, you had an argument one night that went explosive blame it on hormones or something but you just weren't having it.
anyways after you two broke up sam decided that he would stay in his daughters life yes daughter you guys ended up having a girl along with a gender reveal baby shower a lot of people had their money on boy and they all lost it to you, the amount of gifts you received made you cry in front of everyone like a big baby with sam telling you it was okay.

"mommy i wanna see daddy pleaseeeee" your 3 year old daughter kicked the back of the passenger seat, "baby i'm taking you there now, if you don't stop kicking that seat annemarie it's going to be a problem" your daughter nodded and sat up straight instead bopping her head to the music "wild wild wild when i'm with you all i get it wild thoughts" you smiled at your advanced daughter who at three was able to get every word right bopping along with her you tapped the steering wheel, and sang along.
at sammy's house you opened the door for your daughter and allowed her to get out and hold her own dora princess bag since she was staying overnight. you unlock the door with the key you made a copy of, yourself. you locked the door behind you and went to the living room where sammy and some white fork was on top of him making out you turned annemarie around before talking "i guess you didn't realize what time it was" the two shot apart
"oh my god y/n i'm sorry i didn't even realize i set an alarm on my phone" he touched his body and then the couch to find it, once he found it on the floor he realized it was dead "which died, oh my god y/n look i didn't realize i apologize let me straighten up this is anastasia but everyone calls her stassie" you nodded not understanding why she was still in your face "okay you can fuck your hoe in two days when i come to pick up my daughter"
stassie shook her head, she had a slight bump to her stomach "i'm his girlfriend" you laughed "oh that's a good one April fools right" sammy just shrugged not wanting to get into this with you. "yes she's my girlfriend and she's pregnant" you didn't say anything "come one annemarie let's go" your daughter hugged her fathers legs before going to you. you made her to slam the door but by that time you had tears streaming down your face, wiping them away to be strong for your daughter.
you cared greatly about sammy but it seemed like he care for you whatever you could do this on your own you have been never once asking sammy for money or help you had your own back. pulling out your phone you blasted incapable by keyshia cole, while your daughter was watching her show on the ipad. at your house you put your daughter to bed and called your guy friend over"
brandon came through the door and you attacked him with kisses, "baby i'm ready" he nodded and took you to your room locking the door he laid you down and y'all fucked till the morning 4am you came 4 times and so did he, you made sure you were on the pill so you wouldn't be pregnant sure you were angry with sam but not enough to get pregnant with someone else, just holding the man back from seeing his daughter. a few weeks later sam had contacted you about seeing his daughter which you left him read, he called you for the tenth time that day when you picked up.
" why have you been ignoring me" you rolled your eyes

"i would like to see my daughter"

"were not on this again y/n i don't want to but i will take you to court for custody"

you hung up the phone pissed off that he would even suggest to taking you to court but you had someone over his head. you called up one of your good friends lily who was one of the best attorney's in the city. "i need your help". that same night you and lily sat at your kitchen table pinning down sam on his dirty works. "okay he smokes weed that's a major thing since it's illegal, he drinks, the house is not child safety approved, he told you multiple times that he needed you to keep her, he has multiple dui's and he works in the music industry but he's not really hitting major charts so therefore he isn't able to fully insure her income while you work two jobs and make sure she's in daycare spend extra time with her, and every weekend you make sure to take her dance and step"
you didn't wanna do this but you already paid lily so when the day came for you and sam to go against each other you didn't even spare him a glance. any judge in their right mind wouldn't allow him to be father. there had been slot of back and forth and people going up on the stand swearing and shit and finally your daughter was in the stand. "hi your full name is annemarie deana wilkinson forever" lily asked to which your daughter nodded. "okay annemarie i have a few questions" annemarie nodded "call me anna please"
the court awed at how cute she was "okay anna who do you stay with the most" anna didn't even have to think about this "my mommy she has a big princess room in her house i love it" she giggled and the court couldn't help but she again. "alright well if you had to choose who would you stay with" anna had really thought about it. "well daddy is cool but he doesn't really know what he's doing but that's okay because i teach him how to help me which lets us bond like mommy says is the right word.
while mommy is my best friend she takes me to the zoo the park i do dance class my recital is coming up too i'm so excited i'm gonna be a ballerina and mommy lets me help her cook while daddy just orders pizza. daddy lets me watch tv all weekend and mommy makes me stop and makes me read a book which i don't mind sometimes because i like reading. i love my mommy so much and she always cries when i talk about daddy which makes me sometimes hate daddy because he makes mommy sad and i don't want her to be so i wanna stay with mommy"
sammy didn't say anything and they took anna off the stand "alright i believe that in behalf of annamarie deana wilkinson that y/n y/m/n y/l/n should have full custody over her daughter while samuel wilkinson will have supervised visits with his daughter netting adjourned" the judge banged his gravel and everyone began clearing out the judge ready to take the next case. samuel didn't look at you instead you held your daughter close and left the court. thanking lily and taking your daughter out for celebratory dinner. "i love you babygirl" you smiled "i love you too mommy"
