Richelle's Pov
For the next few months, I made sure that the Erlicks were invited to every party we held. I had to perform a stupid ballet routine at each of them, just embarrassing myself. I wouldn't deny that I could dance, but I preferred to dance in my room, alone.

Noah was so good to me. Each night we snuck up to the special spot- well it was our special spot. In fact, we gave it a name; Moonlight Falls. We named it this because the moonlight fell upon us when we had our first kiss. Sappy to some but sweet to others.

We didn't have sex up there, just gentle kisses and the occasional make out session. It was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more loving boyfriend. People say that love at first sight isn't real, but I was sure it was.

Not only were Noah and I dating, but we were in love. He had told me last month that he loved me, and it was the sweetest thing ever.

Somehow, he'd managed to sneak a bouquet of roses in his car with his parents when they came. When we drove up there, he gave them to me with a note that read 'out of all of the flowers in this bouquet, I pick you'. I melted. He was so sweet. I loved him so much.

One thing did begin to bother me though; we only saw each other once a month. I knew at the start of this whole thing that it would be a problem, but it was driving me insane. I needed to see him. I longed to see him. I wished I could see him each day. I wished he could hug me and kiss me and bring me roses. I wished I could hear his voice calling me beautiful when we saw each other.

I missed him, but today I got to see him again. It was the of June, and we were having a big summer gathering. This party started at five o'clock, and the Erlicks were invited. I couldn't wait to see Noah. I couldn't wait to gave into his gorgeous brown eyes and get forever lost in them. I couldn't wait for him to wrap his arms around me and make me feel safe. I really was in love with him.

I sighed as I looked at the white clock hanging on my wall; two o'clock. Three more hours. I could wait this out. I hoped.

My eyes wandered from the clock down to my bed. I stared at it, a yellow summer dress laying on top of it. It had ugly frills surrounding the dress, fighting off any normal material left. I hated dresses. I wished I could just throw on a comfy shirt and jeans with a pair of trainers, but no. I had to wear a stupid uncomfortable dress with stupid uncomfortable heels.

I stared at it once more before ignoring it and leaving my cute dungarees on.

"Richelle!" I heard being called from downstairs. It was my mother. "Richelle, there's someone here we'd like you to meet?"

Huh? Who could it be, I pondered as I slowly stepped downstairs. The tips of my fingers brushed the oak railing. Our home was so old, but I did like it. It was nicely furnished. The only problem with it was the people who lived within its walls.

"Richelle, darling, there you are!" My mother smiled as she took hold of my hand once I reached the bottom of the stairs. "This is Charles."

"How do you do?" He asked politely, taking hold of my hand and kissing it.

Who was he? I stared in confusion at his jet black hair that was perfectly combed. He had crystal lakes for eyes, and a friendly smile. He wore a tight black suit which I did not find appealing. Only Noah looked nice in a suit. I gave him a small curtsy, even though I wasn't wearing a dress, and told him I was doing fine. He looked older than me, much older. He was, probably twenty two or so.

"Charles here," my mother smiled at him whilst he grinned, "you're going to be marrying him next month!"

WHAT HAD SHE JUST SAID?!
