One year later

Richelle's Pov
Noah and I had been together for a year now. We lived in a beautiful house, free of work (which I was thankful for) and just enjoying life. My sisters were still living with my aunt, and I visited them every weekend with Noah. We also visited Noah's parents quite often; they were always so welcoming.

Throughout my life I always thought that I'd just write about the man of my dreams. Turns out my dream became a reality. I was seventeen now, and my life couldn't be any better. I woke up to kisses on my cheek, breakfast already served. We would laugh until the sun went down. He would always tell me I looked beautiful, always be there to hug me and kiss me when I felt sad and always be the one to sweep me off my feet; I loved him.

"Richelle?" I heard a voice speaking from behind me and I felt myself jump in shock. "Woah, easy there."

I laughed a little as I felt a pair of arms wrap around me; Noah. A tingly sensation filled my stomach as I felt him kiss my cheek. I was sitting on the windowsill, notebook in hand as a ray of sunshine glistened on my hair.

"I've been calling you for the past five minutes," Noah mumbled into my hair, making a chill go down my spine; a good chill.

"Oh, sorry," I muttered watching the sunset in the distance.

"Don't worry about it, I just wanted to talk to you about something."

"Is everything okay?" I asked, turning my head around to face him.

His handsome face stared back at me, a cute smile on his lips.

"Yes, yes. Just come with me."

His hand touched mine and tugged a little. I got off the windowsill, confused. Where was he taking me? I questioned him for as long as I could before we reached our destination. He'd taken me upstairs to our bedroom's balcony.

His hand let go of mine as he stared into the sunset too, streaks of orange and red hitting him in the face. He was perfect. He was the best person in the world. I couldn't imagine life without him.

"So," he began, "you look beautiful- as always."

I giggled a little, smiling at his comment. He always made me smile.

"Richelle, listen" his tone sounded more serious this time, "you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I mean it. You always make me smile, you always make me laugh. You're always there when I need you. I would go to the Moon for you, I would get a star for you. Richelle, I love you, and that's why I wanted to ask....."

He got down on one knee.

"Richelle Anne Nolet, my first and forever love, will you marry me?"

Tears of joy began to run down my face.

"Yes! A thousand times yes!" I squealed in excitement as he placed a stunning diamond ring around my finger. "Noah!"

He stood up and hugged me. I loved him so much. I was going to marry Noah! I was going to marry Noah!

"I love you," I cried into his shoulder, not being able to stop smiling.

"Hey now don't cry!" He pulled away to look at me with a smile. "I hole those aren't tears of sadness....."

"Of course not you idiot," I laughed as he did.

He pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around my waist and gently kissing me on the lips. It was the perfect moment.
