Tobirama x Oc

Chapter 20

Asuka's Pov:

I watched the sun come up from the couch with my back against the rest and one leg outstretched across the cushions while the other I had bent to my chest as I sipped on my tea...I was slightly surprised when I heard the soft sound of feet hitting the floor. I looked over and saw the twins both awake

"What are you two doing up so early?" I asked patting the spot in front of me

"I couldn't go back to sleep" Kaito said and I frowned slightly letting my other leg fall against the cushions

"Sorry sweetie I didn't mean to wake you up" I said quietly as Kaito came up and curled up in my lap. I put my tea down and grabbed Natsuki under her arms and pulled her up to sit between me and the back cushion and I rested my head against hers as I looked over the back of the couch out the window at the awakening village.

"Where are we taking the picture today?" Natsuki asked and I smiled

"The river, but not where we went yesterday the place where we normally skip rocks" I said and they both grinned

"Can we skip rocks today too?" Kaito asked quickly and I ran my fingers through his soft hair, pulling out a few knots

"Of course sweetie" I said quietly. We stayed like that for awhile until I decided to get up and make breakfast for all of us. I spent the morning teaching them a few random things that the academy probably wouldn't teach them that I had to learn myself and soon enough it was time to eat lunch then go get Tobirama. After lunch I dressed them both in matching shirts but with different colors then tied Natsuki's hair into two low ponytails that she had decided was the best hairstyle along with Tsunade. After that we walked towards the Hokage's office and when we got there I heard people speaking on the other side of the door so I decided that the kids should stay outside before I went in. Tobirama was speaking to a man I recognized instantly as the head of the Anbu, the man we had both decided on together due to his incredible skill.. although right now I wasn't happy to see him. I smiled at him before I looked pointedly at Tobirama

"Don't tell me you planned a meeting" I said quietly and he looked apologetic

"I'm sorry Asuka I forgot... I planned this a week ago" He said and I ran my hand through my hair to keep myself from punching the wall

"I planned this two weeks ago and reminded you almost every day Tobirama" I said keeping my voice low so the kids didn't hear

"We can do another one later" he said simply and I threw my hands in the air

"When?! You barely even come home. How am I supposed to plan anything for us as a family?" I asked completely disregarding the two uncomfortable Anbu agents in the room. They both made to leave but I stopped them

"No this is obviously more important.." I said quietly to them

"Either way this means our family portrait will perfectly represent our family.. Fatherless and husbandless" I spat as I activated my Sharingan looking at Tobirama who looked surprised because I had never once activated my Sharingan to hurt him or out of anger.. Only ever by his request or in a sparring match. I turned on my heal deactivating my Sharingan as I went out the door.

"Daddy can't make it sorry guys" I said quietly as I kneeled down in front of the bench across from his door.

"Aw why nott" Natsuki whined in a voice loud enough that I knew Tobirama had heard as she crossed her arms over her chest and stuck out her bottom lip

"He has a meeting sweetie.. He is putting all of his time into protecting us" I said moving her bangs out of her face and I frowned hearing footsteps in the door behind me. I let black chakra seep out of my foot so the kids couldn't see it slide under the door putting up a barrier stopping him from coming out. I grabbed both of there hands and led them down the hall and felt my chakra shatter from someone punching it before catching up with us and absorbing back into me.
