the forced "COUPLE" (VSOO fanfic)

i tried to hold on knowing that you will let it go

"jungkook, I need to talk to you" jisoo says

"sshh.. look at the cherry blossoms.  aren't they pretty? you have always liked cherry blossoms" he says in the calmest voice

jisoo looks at them. the fact that jungkook still remembers something that she said years ago surprises her.. she turns to jungkook

"I have thought about us a lot last night and I think it is better to let it go this time" she says hoping that he will understand her..

jungkook does

"I knew you were gonna end it.. I was forcing myself too hard to believe that it wasn't true." jungkook says without looking at her... he just looks at the clear pond water

"are you angry with me?" she asks

"nah.. this is the second time you are doing this. but I know that this is not because of your dad. it is for someone else. but whatever makes you happy" jungkook smiles faintly and continues

"I was too blind to see that. I tried to hold on knowing that you will let it go."

jisoo feels a wave of sadness through her heart..

"jungkook I.." she says as jungkook grabs her and gives her a hug

"this is the last time I am gonna get a warm hug.. I can't force you to love me like you used to. I just wish that you never came here. I really saw us together in the future" he says as he breaks the hug

"anyways jisoo.. I will be here if you need me. I am just one call away and will do anything for you without asking for anything in return" he says and slowly walks away

jisoo eyes are filled with tears... she wipes them as jungkook goes away..

she has finally had the courage to let go of the person who once meant the world to him..

she has one more task to do..

jisoo looks for taehyung and finds him in the garden alone..

"taehyung, I need to say something" she says

"oh.. wifey how are you?" he says in a jolly mind

jisoo sits on the bench beside him..

"so, where is lisa?" she asks

"idk. in class maybe" he says

"I want to tell you something"

"what?" he asks negligently

"I just broke up with jungkook" she says

"you just what? did he hurt you? what did he do?" he asks in a caring voice

"nothing.. I am the one who broke our relation" she says

taehyung smirks as if he expected that.

"took you long enough to realize that that jerk was not for you.." he says looking ahead

"and it also took me long enough to realize that another jerk was for me" she says

taehyung looks at her..

"look taehyung, I know you have girlfriend and all.. but I need to be true to myself and say this"

taehyung doesn't reply and just looks at her..

" I love you... there I said it.." jisoo blushes as she avoids taehyung's gaze

taehyung smiles and touches her cheeks and pinches it..

"remember where we started? from you trying to make me eat a spice soup to confessing me" taehyung feels proud of the long way they have come

"I have said it.. what about you?" she asks
