Inconvenient Surprises

Justin, who had been standing talking to Ryan Good and Sean Kingston backstage, glanced up, only to catch a glimpse of Allie walking down the hall with Jasmine. Almost instantly, he felt a grin spread across his face.

“Allie!” He called.

She glanced up, stopping mid-sentence and directing her gaze in his direction. Her face lit up. “Hey!” She called, smiling warmly at him.

Grinning, he made his way over to her, and wrapped his arms around her waist. “How’s it going, shawty?” He murmured in her ear.

Allie blushed, giggling. “Good.” She replied, hugging him back.

Jasmine couldn’t help but smile; they were so cute together. Things had definitely changed between the two. They were still flirty like they’d been right before they became official, but everything now was very sweet and genuine. Even though Allie had initially hated the boy who was now holding her close, he had proved to her that he wasn’t the superficial jerk she had first thought he was. Similarly, as the weeks had passed by, Justin, who had gone into the pursuit purely based on the bet he’d made with Ryan and Chaz, had realized how amazing Allie was, and he’d come to see how much he liked her. Thus, their relationship was something that made both Allie and Justin extremely happy; it was good for them.

“I’ll let you two talk.” Jasmine said knowingly, smirking at them, and slipping away to go talk to Sean and Ryan.

Allie stifled a yawn. “I am so exhausted.” She commented. 

“You should probably take a nap.” Justin said, grinning at her teasingly.

Considering they had a show that night, this was probably a good idea. 

Allie had not been able to sleep for the past few nights because tomorrow was the big day: the day the tour went to Denver. It’d be the day she told her friends and family that she was dating Justin, the day Justin met her parents, the day Mitchell and Azra came on tour. In other words...the day. She couldn’t help but feel extremely nervous and stressed out about it. The one thing in particular that was bothering her was the fact that Mitchell was coming along on tour. Though she was excited to see him again, she wasn’t quite sure how she was gonna handle dealing with her boyfriend and old crush together at the same time. Plus, Justin clearly didn’t like the idea of Mitchell, and he currently had no idea that he was going to have to deal with him in the flesh for six days. 

“You’re right, I probably should.” Allie replied.

“Come on, I’ll take you back to the tour bus.” Justin stated.

Allie smiled at him.
