Ed's POV

I'm in the bathroom again, looking at my reflection, waiting for the Riddler. Without fail, he appears in thee mirror in front of me. But this time something is... different. He feels somewhat awry from me, distant.

"He was a breath of fresh air, huh, Ed?!"

"That's one way to put it." I take a breath. "I... I don't know what to do."

"Well for one," the hallucination voices, "you nearly devoured him entirely in there. You're planning on talking to him again soon, which provides the opportunity for you to finally work that stupidity of yours away. You do know what you have to do. Or should I take over for this one?" He shoots me a wry smile.

"I sure hope I don't have to deal with you anymore if things get in order," I spit.

"Oh, but Ed," Riddler whispers, "I am you. We are one; don't you forget that. Oswald simply keeps us whole."

"And he... accepts it all," I say with a small nod. "Maybe it is clear. Maybe I do know what to do."
