broken universes; nine

do you remember a time when things were easy?

when you didn't worry about if you had food to put on the table the next day or if your electricity bill was already overdue.

i do.

i remember of a world where broken promises or broken families didn't exist.

one where all mommies and daddies loved each other,

one where little boys and girls would run around a bright meadow, not a care in their little worlds.

but now,

the only universe that i can remember

is one that is filled with broken dreams, broken promises, broken families, and broken hearts.

i guess you could say that it was a broken universe.
