i see you glance over,
your honey-colored eyes skimming across my bronzed skin.

you stare, watching my every movement carefully.
i look down, trying to hide the red that has crept up into my cheeks.

you look away, my lungs start to expand again
inhale. i relax. exhale. my heart starts beating slower.

i puff out a breath, making a piece of my hair fly away from my face.
i make a mistake of looking back at you, making my chest constrict once my golden eyes meet yours.
